Oh wow, real African food in Atlanta! My wife just came back from West Africa and she said the goat curry and veggies are just like back there. As for me, I just want my plantains, everything else just nice additions. :)

It’s a cafeteria style place. Food is excellent. Service is sweet and pleasant. Their oxtail and goat curry have never let me down. We’ve been coming here since my freshman at Georgia state university. There’s always a line, but it move quickly. Parking is 1 hour free with validation.

BEST “quik stop” OXTAILS IN ATLANTA! Been coming to this place for 15 years. The consistency of taste at this place since day one is the thing. We’re there times when Ox Tails weren’t super tender? Yes, but 90% of the time they’re fall off the bone melt on your mouth good! Extra gravy pleeeze!

Since I became Vegan, this is one of the best food I have eaten. I get the rice, spinach and beans & the spinach is out of this world 👍🏾 🤤

I’m from ny and just moved to Atlanta have been looking for some good West Indian food and could not find any. who would have known this little place tucked in the municipal market would have the best jerk chicken I’ve ever had. Never really tried African food but loved the fusion I got the jerk chicken with the jollof rice, plantains, spinach and black eyed peas. It was sooooo good. Meat was falling off the bone flavor just right. so happy my grandma introduced me to this place. Now I don’t have to be homesick when I’m looking for some good Caribbean food. Oh and the owners are so welcoming and nice definitely put love in their food. feels like home.

THE BEST. I found this place by TOTAL ACCIDENT I was hungry, my buddy and I went to a Market Terminal and I just so happened to see them. I ordered the Oxtail with Macaroni and Plantains. OMG it was Great. What I loved was everything was well seasoned. Ontop of the great customer service. I hope they expand but I'm afraid that if they do, the quality might suffer a bit (I don't know, I'm just thinking out loud). However, as of right now, the food, the people, the customer service is awesome. So, whenever I go to GA, this is one of my MUST STOP places to get something to eat. If you're reading this, put your phone away, and go there... like now, or when they're open.

Everytime I visit the Municipal Market, I make sure I head over to Afrodish for the Jerk Chicken . They offer white or dark meat ( I love options) and it is so tender it falls off the bone the Quantity is great for the price so is the Quality. The owners are wonderful and you can tell they put love in the food they prepare.

I knew my daughter was at the Curb Market so I asked her to bring me something to eat. She decided to stop at this place and pick me up some oxtails. The platter was oxtails rice and peas and cabbage. Although I've had a lot of oxtail planters in Atlanta this one was different. The taste of the oxtails, the gravy, the peas and the cabbage were totally on point. The oxtails were tender but not overcooked. The flavor was very good. I have to say the rice and peas were completely cooked but not mushy. Many times when you get these platters either the rice is crunchy or the peas are crunchy. The only thing I would have wanted is more gravy. They definitely had a good flavor. Finally someone knows how to cook cabbage. Either is too much or has no flavor in other places. This place cooked it just right. I don't know how much the planter calls exactly but I think my daughter said around $13. This price is kind of unheard of right now in Atlanta. Inflation has got the best of the food in the street and we as patrons understand but it's always nice to see a business kind of work with their customers. I would definitely return to get more and to try something different. Give this business a shot whenever you at the Curb Market.
