Great place, good food, service can be improved as they messed up our order twice.

This review is for catering only, although I also love the restaurant experience. We ordered chicken tacos and veggies for 30 people to celebrate my birthday, and the food was the biggest hit of the night! Ordering was super easy, and the staff was very responsive and helpful. Portions are very generous as well--we have leftovers to feed us for the next week. Highly recommend for your catering needs!

I love returning to Little Rey. I have had their hot cakes and their lunch menu and all are delicious. It is a very casual restaurant with delicious food. It is similar to Superica but on a smaller and more casual scale. A great location for weekend brunch.

2nd time trying this place and still did not disappoint. The steak and chorizo tacos were out of this world, and don't even get me started on the plantains. I think I would want those as my final meal. 100% recommend this restaurant.

Food was tasty, the service was excellent and, and the atmosphere in Midtown was calm, despite the usual traffic. Overall I enjoyed this spot. The outdoor seating in particular feels good at this time of fall. I do have to give a special shout out to the sauces that offer. Those are actually insanely good.

It's amazing how a restaurant can transcend the food, even when the food is so unforgettable. The experiences, the memories, the people I have shared moments with at Little Rey will stay with me forever. My fiance and I first went to Little Rey soon after it opened in 2019, and we have lived a lot of life since then. One of the main constants has been this fantastic restaurant. Through the pandemic, surprise visits from friends and family around the country, birthday parties, etc., the first place that always came to mind to house these moments was this place. I have experienced incredible customer service from the entire staff throughout our dozens and dozens of visits, but Marisol specifically made such an enormous impact on us over the years. Always cheerful and friendly without fail and SO generous to allow us to have a little gathering on their back patio, just because she knew how important this place is to us. I could go on and on about her and the whole staff, but I haven't even gotten to the food yet! The absolute BEST tacos (dinner or breakfast), frozen margaritas, salsa, queso, fries, chicken wings, pancakes (don't even get me started on the SYRUP) I HAVE EVER HAD. Nothing touches this place as far as food quality. You can't go wrong with any option in the menu. I have moved out of Georgia and am going to miss this place, but will ALWAYS make a point to stop in whenever I am back in Atlanta.

Fantastic flavor and a lively atmosphere. You won't wait long for your food here. The tacos are an absolute delight, and the pozole, although tasty, comes in a smaller portion than anticipated.

Update August 2023: still love it but I am schocked by the astronomical amount of plastic and one time use that is just thrown away without recycling this is really not good Little rey is one of my favorites I mean they just do the chicken the right way nice charcoal burn with delicious sides and the sauces with the jalapeño ranch being my absolute favorite 😍. They now have a buffet of sauces where you can help yourself which is pretty cool. Otherwise the queso was really good and then lastly the wings as you will see on my review they are a 💣 nice heat and crunchy without too much breading which I appreciated a lot! Drinks are nice too and honestly pretty affordable for a half bird at 18 dollars that feeds me for two meals and I usually eat quite a lot :)
