In the back of the food court of Concourse A, past the lines of people waiting to order from the court's stalls is a hidden gem - Boardwalk Fresh Burgers. I found no lines to wait in. Walked up to the counter and ordered a Mushroom Swiss. I had to wait - no precooked goods here.
I found there are plenty of tables back past the counter, in fact the best views of the Delta flight line. My burger was obviously handmade and surprise! a double burger.
The Boardwalk burgers might take some getting used to. They are very juicy. The patties might try to escape out the back door if you don't pay attention. But the compact construction guarantees burger, Swiss, onions, and 'shrooms in every bite.

My food was fresh and the service was nice so I can't complain at all on that part. I only got a single burger with fries and a drink. Now the one problem is I asked for ketchup, mustard, grilled onions, and pickles, and there was no mustard at all and a little too much ketchup, but being fresh made I tolerated it.
i went to ATL and stopped here after my flight there and before my flight back home. they did not disappoint! Hollywood was so sweet and helpful on the register the second time around during a bit of a longer wait. they have a great staff overall. i had the classic burger the first time, and it was so juicy and filling. the second time i had the wings (mild) and finished the entire box before my flight. it is worth it! whenever i come back i am definitely getting a quick meal here again.
Just wanted a simple veggie burger and ordered that. Then asked if it came with veggies like onions and pickles and he said no but he could add it. When I explained I just wanted whatever veggies they had on top it confused them but a manager was super helpful and they even gave me some free fries! The burger was tasty with all the toppings and the people couldn’t be nicer! Basically just a quick meal at an airport but the service was great.
Food was ready fast and came out hot. Managed to make our flight.
With the Chik-Fil-A line across the way going around the block, I would highly recommend boardwalk burgers. I was absolutely famished and it hit the spot perfectly. The standard burger was everything I could’ve asked for—I loved that they already put ketchup on it. The price was reasonable as well and it came out pretty quick. I also got the fries, which were hot, salty, and the perfect balance between soft and crunchy. Needless to say, I am quite satisfied.
With all of that said, the staff don’t look like they want to be there, and I’m pretty sure the two people waiting for food in front of me got the wrong order/something was messed up. I admit this is speculation, but I felt it was important information to include to back up some of the other 1-star reviews I read. Still a 5 stars from me, but somewhat reserved given I hadn’t eaten in 6 hours.
The burger and fries were made fresh and they were excellent!! They make everything in front of you and the staff was friendly. Excellent spot for a quick bite if you are in the Atlanta airport. Maybe next time I will try the breakfast options. 😋
Great Service and Great Food between Flights!!
I had a chance to try out Boardwalk Fries Burgers Shakes during a stopover flight in Atlanta. Since I didn't have time for a sit-down restaurant meal, I needed something I could order and eat quickly. I ordered a classic burger and fries combo which came out surprisingly fast even though there was a huge lineup. When I got my food, the fries were piping hot and thoroughly cooked as the burger was very good as well. If I fly out of that terminal again, and I'm pressed for time, this will be my goto.
We went to this place for dinner while on a layover. They were super fast! And the workers were very kind to listen to my very talkative kid.
