The soft serve was so good I forgot to take a picture before scarfing it down. That was absolutely delicious! The coffee ice cream pie was even better! If you get a chance to pre-order one of their pies, it’s the perfect treat for yourself or to celebrate anyone!
My favorite ice cream spot in Atlanta. Their flavors and toppings never disappoint, and they always keep new flavors rolling out. I love a classic vanilla with a cornflake streusel topping.
I’m not sure how they work/if they collaborate with the next door establishment, but you can sometimes sit in their area and it’s a very nice, quiet, and intimate seating area. They also have a restroom that is kept decently clean.
Parking can be tricky as it’s either street parking or small parking lots in the area. I’ve sometimes had to spend some minutes looking but it’s worth it.
So many vegan/dairy free options!! It’s so tasty, light and delicious! My only hankering is that it is pricey. I got a regular cup with 1 topping, came out to $8 before tip.
Love this place! The waffle cones are made fresh and I love that they switch out their flavors monthly. I haven't been disappointed once! Their sorbets are full of flavor...best to go midday to avoid a long line :)
We visited after a hot day at the Zoo Atlanta. Soft serve ice cream good amount of variety. I got a chocolate/vanilla twist with the chocolate hard shell with the strawberry shortcake crumble. It was really tasty. The customer service was top tier and the outdoor area was spacious and comfortable for our group. I’d definitely visit them again in the future.
Amazing soft serve. Loved to customize my ice cream and a really cute little place. I got a vanilla ice cream cone with a passion fruit shell and it was a nice vanilla with a sweet aftertaste. Would recommend for a nice little sweet treat.
My partner and I love Big Softie. We’ll just glance at each other and say “Big Softie?” and before you know it, there we are.
She’s a big fan of the classic vanilla, which is the perfect amount of not-too-sweet, and I typically get whatever’s new and exciting.
I’m likely to get it with no toppings in a waffle cone, and she’s always trying to figure out which toppings she wants.
We like to take it back to the parking lot and eat in the car.
We love Big Softie.
Good gourmet ice cream isn't hard to come by but artisan soft serve is rare. I mean, how many ice cream joints do you frequent that have Golden Milk flavored soft serve? How many there are, they're few and far between, and you’ve got to support the good ones when you find them.
Big Softie has the staples too. Vanilla and chocolate are on tap alongside a rotating selection of creative options that are so much fun and definitely worth your time. You can choose a cup, cake, or waffle cone along with a wide variety and wonderful set of custom options for toppings. And you can swirl or mix your flavors ensuring that every time you come here you’ll always leave with something unique. There isn’t any other food or bevs, but their sister store next door is an espresso and pastry shop that also offers indoor seating. So you've got choices.
Big Softie is popular on weekends and warm days so be prepared to wait, but don't worry, it goes quick enough. Parking is on the street or around the corner.
I would Recommended ; a way to offer TO-GO because to assume everyone wants to walk around with melting ice cream is nonsensical & only offering 1 seating area in the Sun … Im not sure if that was all the way thought out..
nevertheless. I’m sure they’re busy with Little Tart next door. Same owners. Tried to go there Saturday but it was a 3-ring ; they need a weekend host to organize the crowd.
Tried the Thai Tea Softie with chocolate wafers !
The ice cream is good and there are multiple options to cure your sweet tooth if you’re in the area. Lots of free parking close by which is a huge plus for me.
