The place might be small, but they have some great cooks. Some of their dishes are honestly some of the most authentic bangladeshi dishes I've tasted , chicken roast, and beef biriyani are just to name a few. Their quantity is always alot, I always have left overs. This is one of my most visited restaurants in Atlanta. I highly recommend trying their food!!
Great quality and quantity of the food. I drive all the way from Alabama and everytime I'm in Atlanta I try to stop here. This place is a hundred times better than the #HalalGuys that opened in Chamblee. I'd say Bismillah is most authentic gyro that I had anywhere in ATL so far.
We mostly order takeout so the atmosphere at those times is good, but guys - the food and service is where it’s at. Their dishes are on another level, especially their biryanis and samosas. The service is always amazing, too. The same close-knit group of guys are still there and they know their customers. Even though we live about 25 miles away, we’ll keep going back every time we get a hankering for their food.
Amazing biryanis. We had mutton and mixed biryani. Also highly recommend the ginger juice and the mango one. Delicious food.
Such a great local food spot to go to. I definitely recommend to check this place out. Their lamb was delicious. They were sadly out of chicken when we arrived so a lot of the options for food was eliminated. My brother comes here Dailey though and says their food is delicious and economical.
This really isn’t a restaurant but people do eat outside. Their is a grocery store that is connected.
Their fish dish came with a whole fish just to let you know.
Overall 4.5/5
Don't be deceived by the shabby outlook of the store 😅 they have an amazing collection of Bangladeshi fish 🐟🐠 and halal meat products. The meat is affordable, and I prefer this store much better than the other local Bangladeshi grocery stores. Highly recommended!! The store managers are friendly and cordial and accommodating and sweet heart 💜 kind, just like you expect from Bangladeshi people 😁
Shop could use some deep clean but I didn't care given the grocery products are affordable.
We catered the mixed chicken/gyro biryani twice in one week from here and both times they exceeded expectations. It’s really hard to get such a large quantity of food to have so much flavor but they definitely did it! The rice was soft, packed with meat, and tasted very fresh. Obviously, the green sauce took it up a notch. I personally wouldn’t eat it without the green sauce but that’s just me!
I love coming here. I’ve only ever had the chicken biryani, it’s too good to not get!! I always get extra green sauce. The serving size is huge, it usually lasts me 2-3 meals and the price is so low. The food is prepared extremely fast - under 10 minutes. I highly recommend coming here!
So, the owners finally moved into their new building, about 100 feet away from their original location (You can't miss it!). Saturday, 08/26/2023, was their grand opening. They were giving out a free plate of rice (no protein) with every purchase as part of their grand opening.
I got 10 chicken samosas and 10 veggie samosas. The veggie samosas were on point, but the chicken samosas were dry. The rice was good (my 9-year-old approved).
As for the atmosphere, they could've turned on the AC for such a hot afternoon. Not a deal breaker since I got my order To Go, but my waiting time was a little uncomfortable.
I eat there once or twice a month, so I'll be going back there soon. I'll take some photos next time. I'll include some Google directions, too.
Delicious. Food is authentic, properly cooked and seasoned and just unique. I recommend the samosas and the lamb over rice, Definitely get extra green sauce too its amazing. Mango Lassi to drink is 10/10. not much room to sit so order to go and eat elsewhere. Overall its great give it a try.
Found this place through other Google reviews so we made a stop on the way to Atlanta. Wow! We ordered the combination biryani and the grilled beef shawarma. Food was great. We stopped at Bismillah #2. The guy who ran the register was great. He was welcoming, accommodating with recommendations. Will definitely return when we go back to Atlanta next time!
I really liked the flavor of the chicken biryani. It was good. However, I thought it could be a bit less mushy texture. The red one is their regular, not so spicy chicken. It still packed a bit of a heat punch
