When I rate the food and service like this, make sure you know that I’m scoring it for what it is. This is a food first barbecue shop. Food is really great, make sure you get the combo platter with the ribs and Brunswick stew. Get there before noon if you want to beat the rush!

Ordered delivery. First time trying. Best ribs I've had in 10 years. Absolutely will order again. Loved the ribs, stew, both sauces......didn't love the baked beans. Great flavor, fast service and great prices.

Good, old school barbecue place. I had a pork plate with slaw and collards. The pork was pulled, very tender and tasty. The vinegar based sauce had a little too much of a sweet flavor for me. The collards and slaw were both very good.

I loved this place! The first thing that hits you is the smell of the smoker out back. AMAZING. The next is the prices that you cannot beat. It’s probably the cheapest I’ve seen, best bang for your buck. The pulled pork sandwich and the vinegar based bbq sauce was INCREDIBLE. The macaroni and cheese was perfect, and the collard greens were so good I could have DRANK the juice. This is one of the best BBQ places I’ve been to and the closest to some of my favorites in Nashville. The atmosphere is low key and we chose to sit outside. It was hopping on a Monday at 12 pm, and service was so quick. I want to say that it took less than 5 minutes to get my tray of food from when I arrived. Good rock music from the speakers and great sweet tea. Looking forward to the next time I can go back!

Excellent service in a well kept space. The economical price of a meal here makes it worth multiple visits. The pulled pork sandwich was good. The pork itself was very tender and seasoned nicely. The bun I feel could improve as it isn't up to the task of holding all of the juices and sauce. The barbecue sauce is nice and vinegar-y with flavors of paprika, onion and a bit of spiciness. The coleslaw is excellent. Overall I had a very pleasant experience.

Solid value BBQ place. Staff is nice, efficient, and work hard. Great bbq style atmosphere. It’s what you want your bbq place to look like. You can count on getting in and out quick with a consistently good meal. I like the bbq chicken sandwich, brunswick stew and the ribs. If you are looking for Texas style bbq/brisket this is not your place but if you want good bbq for a good price, this is 100% your spot.

I'm really glad I gave this place a chance. It is a perfect little BBQ place. The pulled pork sandwich is delicious. Prices are very fair, and staff is friendly. Service is quick. Looks like they have some good catering options as well. Definitely going back.

I was looking for BBQ in the Dunwoody area, and this was the highest rated one around. I got the combination plate with Brunswick Stew and Slaw. The ribs were very good. The BBQ pork was tender but a little bland without the sauce on it. The Brunswick Stew was good, but I don't think it was great. I wish I could give a 4.5 overall, but a solid 4 star will have to do.

The last entrant on Southern Living's 2019 roster of the top 50 BBQ restaurants in the South was my 357th stop on a BBQ journey now embracing 35 states. It's well worth a visit. At lunch, $19.60 purchased a 3 rib plate with sides of mac 'n cheese and Brunswick stew, a large banana pudding, and a can of Diet Coke. The stew combined a soupy texture with the classic, slightly peppery flavor profile. Yum! Alas, the mac 'n cheese offered no surprise, except that it was barely warm. Ah, but the ribs are beautifully prepared, with a slightly sweet rub that seals the moisture into meat that separates cleanly at the bite. The pudding features wafers, pudding and bananas, but no whipped cream. Still, it's not overly sweet, so it does make for a nice finish to a pretty good lunch.
