Came here on a 6/9/23.
To try for the very first time was very impressive.
The service was excellent, and the food choice was excellent as well. I got food from the appetizer list, which was perfect!
I tried the 3 cheese with stuff, seafood mushrooms, and the mussels in white wine sauce with angel hair pasta. A must try! I had a Kettle One martini to complete the dining experience. š.
And I think I met the owner! š

We stopped in late night for a dinner after the rush.
We were greeted as we came in by the owner.
What a neat atmosphere. The service was good and the food was great.
The best bread I may have ever eaten. Now we were late and maybe they cooked it just for us, but the bread came out warm and perfectly cooked - crusty outside and gloriously soft inside.
We had manicotti, lasagna, alfredo primavera, and a pizza.
Seriously this may be the best Italian food Iāve ever eaten. Very good.
I wish I lived closer and could come more often.
Give it a shot, I donāt think youāll be disappointed.

I entered the restaurant rather late after returning to the area from visiting friends in downtown Atlanta. I sat at the bar and had the most delicious glass of rosĆ© and Chicken Florentine. Everything was perfectly cooked and the atmosphere was beautiful. This is truly an authentic Italian restaurant and I canāt express enough how you should go here if you havenāt already. It is the perfect spot for a casual dinner, a date, a group dinner, itās a fit for everything! ā¤ļø

We ordered food from here thru Uber Eats several times before and the food has always been amazing. We decided to stop in this time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This is exactly what you expect from an authentic Italian restaurant. Great atmosphere. Amazing service! The bread is delicious and the balsamic vinaigrette is non-generic. Our server added herbs and spices to it. The quality of the ingredients is what has always stood out for me. Seafood is cooked perfectly and fresh. Pasta is perfect. We tried the calamari, clam linguine and blackened salmon ceasar salad. Will continue to eat here.

I have lived in Sandy Springs for about 15 years, and just visited Aldo's. The restaurant is situated in the corner of a shopping center. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated. The restaurant was not very busy for a Friday night. We decided to sit outside, and the atmosphere was perfect. The staff was attentive, and at times, a bit pushy. I ordered a Bloody Mary, which was semi-bland. We both ordered Chicken Parmigiana for dinner. The chicken was cooked well, and the marinara was seasoned well. Both dishes came with a house salad as well, which was fresh and crisp. The plate had quite a bit of water in it though. The complimentary bread was warm and soft, but it just sat in a bowl of butter. Overall, the prices were decent and the food was good. Would return.

Outstanding! Best Italian food have had in years! I had Fettuccine Alfredo that was so creamy and yummy I was instantly transported to Napoli again! Wonderful food! I tried every dish my friends had and they were all fantastic!

Aldo's Sandu Springs. Took me 8 years to finally find a gem of an Italian cuisine. Aldo's in Sandy Springs hits the spot!! From greeting to dessert, Mr. Massoud and his staff were non stop service and of course the food was phenomenal, my family was totally satisfied, won't go over what we had but it was 6 different dishes and i tasted everyone and fell in love. Look at the menu and order, don't worry, you will love it to. Highly recomend!!

Fabulous Rehearsal Dinner Party!. Aldo's owner is a master host who hit it out of the park for our rehearsal dinner of 80 late June, 2014.<br/>We were from Colorado with the responsibility of hosting a dinner party in Atlanta. Massoud was delightful to work with from start to finish. He was so accommodating, so ready to provide the kind of experience we were wishing. <br/>Our guests were very complimentary of the food, service and set-up. Our party was set up in the large room with a screen for a digital slide show. The food from appetizers to dessert was delicious, the service over a 4-hour party was graciously attentive, and the relaxed atmosphere was most appreciated. I give Aldo's high marks!! Great Experience. I had tried another Italian restaurant nearby, but could not get seated. This place was only a few minutes away. I was seated immediately and received great service throughout the meal. Great food and atmosphere at a good cost.

Great Pizza and Friendly pepole. I was stuck in the Ice Storm Gridlock and finally made it to Roswell Road at 8pm.<br/>I arrived at Aldo's and ordered a Sausage and Pepperoni pizza. The pizza came quickly, even with a half full restaurant. The pizza was so light and delicious without being greasy from the meats. That tells me that it was high quality-low fat meat. ( I grew up and worked in the Italian restaurant business). I asked Aldo when he closed. He said "Usually 10-11 pm but I'll stay as long as anybody needs a safe place to rest!" We are going back with another couple Tonight Feb. 8th 2014<br/>Thank you Aldo!

The salad and the rolls were decent, but that is where it ends! Our family ordered the Veal & Chicken Picata, Chicken Marsala another pasta dish. All I can say is I literally would have told them to take them all back as they were terrible. The unfortunate thing was my parents had to pay for it. I'm not a food snob nor have I written a restaurant review before, but anyone who says the food is good must somehow be related. On a good note, the server was great!

Authentic Italian cuisine. I drive by this restaurant at least twice a day and I never took a chance to stop by and try it !! Being Italian and growing in a house eating Italian food almost every day sets your standards a little higher! So we finally decided to try this Italian Restaurant for my girlfriend's Birthday and BOY, this place blow me away.<br/><br/>We started Calamari for an Appetizer and it was cooked to perfection, the marinara was well balanced and spiced right. For my entree I took Alex word on the special which was the Grouper Franchaise and my girlfriend had the veal Romano. Both entrees were great if not perfect, Alex got us a piece of Tiramisu and it was fantastic as well.<br/><br/>I usually don't rate restaurants online but but tonight experience, it was the least I can do. PS Ask for the server Alex when you visit, he knows his stuff.

When over there about 2:30pm after sit down on the bar start looking for rewiew about the place I got scary after read a few but it was to late so I give them a try and guess what the food it was good , nice staff I spoke with the owner for few minutes nice guy he give me a dessert for free definitely I'll be back. Price it was average $10 for a entree I ate chicken with amaretto sauce delicious !!!

Over Rated...over priced. Been here twice. The food is over priced for what you get and the mark up on the wine is beyond reasonable. Better off going else where unless you like to waste your money.

The food was better than expected. Our waiter did not tell us about the specials for the evening (which sounded good) and the regulars seemed to get better treatment and bigger glasses of wine. We will go again and give them one more chance.

Bad food. Owner bad customer service.. Last night I ordered penne vodka.<br/>I have eaten this before and it has been fine. I told the waiter that it was very spicy and it had many tomatoes without being cook with the sauce. He asked me if I wanted to take it home. I declined. He said he was sorry, we were the only ones in the restaurant. The owner was there and did not come to talk to us instead he charged.us or the meal gave me a free desser t.Wrong you give the entree free when you hardly ate it. we will not go there again.

Service was so slow we had to get the food to go because we had an appt to get to (which our server knew). My husband ordered steak medallions and Instead got a whole, rare steak and I ordered crab stuffed shrimp and got a few pieces of shrimp covered in imitation crab meat and covered by even more cheese-way too much cheese. Will not be foin back.

TERRIBLE service and food. First off- the drink order was wrong. Then, the waiter spilled my fiancƩ's drink all over his lap and the waiter had the nerve to talk to one of the employees about spilling the drink all over him, laughing about it and then saying he would not take off 10% for doing so (keep in mind we never asked for a discount off of our bill). Our food came and it was disgusting! We ordered Chicken Gorgonzola with Fettuccine Alfredo. The chicken was steamed and flavorless and the fettuccine was a clumpy cheesy mess. We paid $60 for terrible service and food. We are never going there again! I am actually calling the manager tomorrow. I would have called tonight, but by the time we got home they were already closed.

Perfection. The service was fantastic, the food was perfect! It is quite a luxury here in the states to find a place that takes the time to make the food right, and not enhance flavor with chemicals. This was such a great way to relax after a long, long week.

Maybe we got the wrong stuff. Store-bought pasta wasn't drained properly, which wrecked my veal piccatta. Her spaghetti "wasn't really great"; I thought it tasted like "egg noodles and ketchup". You'll like the salad as much as you like red wine vinegar. Everyone else seemed delighted, though, and the service was attentive.

Italian Food, Reasonable and Delicious. I have never had a bad meal at Aldo's Italian. I especially enjoy the Chicken Marsala. The food is light, not heavy, presented well, and always tasty. The bread buns are served in a bowl of melted butter with garlic, although my wife prefers hers dry. Always fresh and soft. As a bonus, we usually take advantage of a 20% coupon savings offered regularly. The service has always been great, and the wait staff very knowledgable. Always a pleasure. We'll be back.
