I have lived in Sandy Springs for about 15 years, and just visited Aldo's. The restaurant is situated in the corner of a shopping center. Upon entering, we were greeted and seated. The restaurant was not very busy for a Friday night. We decided to sit outside, and the atmosphere was perfect. The staff was attentive, and at times, a bit pushy. I ordered a Bloody Mary, which was semi-bland. We both ordered Chicken Parmigiana for dinner. The chicken was cooked well, and the marinara was seasoned well. Both dishes came with a house salad as well, which was fresh and crisp. The plate had quite a bit of water in it though. The complimentary bread was warm and soft, but it just sat in a bowl of butter. Overall, the prices were decent and the food was good. Would return.
Outstanding! Best Italian food have had in years! I had Fettuccine Alfredo that was so creamy and yummy I was instantly transported to Napoli again! Wonderful food! I tried every dish my friends had and they were all fantastic!
Great Experience. I had tried another Italian restaurant nearby, but could not get seated. This place was only a few minutes away. I was seated immediately and received great service throughout the meal. Great food and atmosphere at a good cost.
Great Pizza and Friendly pepole. I was stuck in the Ice Storm Gridlock and finally made it to Roswell Road at 8pm.
I arrived at Aldo's and ordered a Sausage and Pepperoni pizza. The pizza came quickly, even with a half full restaurant. The pizza was so light and delicious without being greasy from the meats. That tells me that it was high quality-low fat meat. ( I grew up and worked in the Italian restaurant business). I asked Aldo when he closed. He said "Usually 10-11 pm but I'll stay as long as anybody needs a safe place to rest!" We are going back with another couple Tonight Feb. 8th 2014

Authentic Italian cuisine. I drive by this restaurant at least twice a day and I never took a chance to stop by and try it !! Being Italian and growing in a house eating Italian food almost every day sets your standards a little higher! So we finally decided to try this Italian Restaurant for my girlfriend's Birthday and BOY, this place blow me away.
We started Calamari for an Appetizer and it was cooked to perfection, the marinara was well balanced and spiced right. For my entree I took Alex word on the special which was the Grouper Franchaise and my girlfriend had the veal Romano. Both entrees were great if not perfect, Alex got us a piece of Tiramisu and it was fantastic as well.
I usually don't rate restaurants online but but tonight experience, it was the least I can do. PS Ask for the server Alex when you visit, he knows his stuff.
When over there about 2:30pm after sit down on the bar start looking for rewiew about the place I got scary after read a few but it was to late so I give them a try and guess what the food it was good , nice staff I spoke with the owner for few minutes nice guy he give me a dessert for free definitely I'll be back. Price it was average $10 for a entree I ate chicken with amaretto sauce delicious !!!
Italian Food, Reasonable and Delicious. I have never had a bad meal at Aldo's Italian. I especially enjoy the Chicken Marsala. The food is light, not heavy, presented well, and always tasty. The bread buns are served in a bowl of melted butter with garlic, although my wife prefers hers dry. Always fresh and soft. As a bonus, we usually take advantage of a 20% coupon savings offered regularly. The service has always been great, and the wait staff very knowledgable. Always a pleasure. We'll be back.

To try for the very first time was very impressive.
The service was excellent, and the food choice was excellent as well. I got food from the appetizer list, which was perfect!
I tried the 3 cheese with stuff, seafood mushrooms, and the mussels in white wine sauce with angel hair pasta. A must try! I had a Kettle One martini to complete the dining experience. 🙂.
And I think I met the owner! 😉

What a neat atmosphere. The service was good and the food was great.
The best bread I may have ever eaten. Now we were late and maybe they cooked it just for us, but the bread came out warm and perfectly cooked - crusty outside and gloriously soft inside.
We had manicotti, lasagna, alfredo primavera, and a pizza.
Seriously this may be the best Italian food I’ve ever eaten. Very good.
I wish I lived closer and could come more often.

I entered the restaurant rather late after returning to the area from visiting friends in downtown Atlanta. I sat at the bar and had the most delicious glass of rosé and Chicken Florentine. Everything was perfectly cooked and the atmosphere was beautiful. This is truly an authentic Italian restaurant and I can’t express enough how you should go here if you haven’t already. It is the perfect spot for a casual dinner, a date, a group dinner, it’s a fit for everything! ❤️

We ordered food from here thru Uber Eats several times before and the food has always been amazing. We decided to stop in this time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This is exactly what you expect from an authentic Italian restaurant. Great atmosphere. Amazing service! The bread is delicious and the balsamic vinaigrette is non-generic. Our server added herbs and spices to it. The quality of the ingredients is what has always stood out for me. Seafood is cooked perfectly and fresh. Pasta is perfect. We tried the calamari, clam linguine and blackened salmon ceasar salad. Will continue to eat here.
Love Aldo's pasta. Every time they never disappoint with stuffed mushrooms lol and I didn't even get a photo because we dove right in. Personable staff, warm garlic bread in butter uh! 😋
