Ok, so the interior is totally unassuming, and you really don't expect to eat some amazing food, but it was absolutely DELICIOUS! We ordered the Chana Masala and Chicken Tikka Masala as well as 2 orders of garlic naan. It was all very good! We will be returning but probably doing takeout next time.
Indian food on Euclid Avenue left me unsure of what to expect. But it was great. First, they were open late, which made it perfect for grabbing a bite after leaving Variety Playhouse. The interior space is a little plain but the staff was super kind and inviting. The pani poori and butter chicken were delightfully flavorful, unique and rich. The pani poori had chick peas, which was a different spin on the traditional dish. And the garlic naan was so pillowy soft with no charred spots from the clay oven. The owner visited our table a few times, checking to ensure we enjoyed our food and weren't in need of anything. Will definitely be back to further explore the menu.
The food here is amazing! The customer service is always top notch. This is my personal favorite Indian restaurant in the area. Give them a visit.
Everything was really good! Amazing customer service! I cannot remember my servers name but he was very informative and recommended a lot of good choices. very flavorful, filling and overall delicious!
I don't get to Little Five Points as often as I used to, so I was ecstatic to discover that Niramish was still open! I spent the entire day craving their mulligatawny. You know how when you crave something that intensely, the end product rarely meets your expectations? This was absolutely not the case last night! One sip of that warm, tangy, delicately spiced soup and my senses were thrust into overdrive! I became that annoying person in the restaurant who has to punctuate every other bite of food with expressions of delight!
Rewind just a bit. I had eaten a very carb-heavy lunch that say, so I wanted something light like mulligatawny that would still fill me up. I hadn't counted on my husband ordering samosas and garlic naan. I tell you truthfully, both are the best you will find in Atlanta! The samosas are perfectly cooked - never greasy, not too bready, bursting with pillowy potatoes. And the naan...so fresh and fluffy and warm! So much for avoiding those carbs!
Finally, I must mention the salmon bhoona my husband ordered as his entree. The sauce was intoxicating in its depth and richness (perfect for dipping buttery naan into), and the salmon was expertly prepared. Not a scrap was left behind!
Don't be fooled by the no-frills interior. Niramish is a gem!
Very friendly staff. Food will be incredibly spicy, so be ready!
Seriously the best authentic Indian food i have had in Georgia. Great portions sizes, great taste, exact spice levels. If it says very hot, it is!!!!! These levels are not for the weak! To top it all off the staff is very friendly and accommodating to all! Do yourselves the justice and go grab a meal! Do not let the aesthetics deter you.
I’ve had Niramish takeout 3 times in the past two weeks now. It has been outstanding each time! The chicken tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, naan, and raita yogurt sauce have all been standouts. Their takeout has arrived fresh, hot, and well packaged each time. Niramish will now become a staple in my rotation of favorite Atlanta ethnic food places!
I absolutely love this place. I’ve had Indian cuisine at many places in the metro Atlanta area and they are the most consistent. I tend to like my food spicy and they never let me down. Delivery is always quick and the driver recognizes me. He’s always got a smile and thank you. Keep up the great work.
This was my first time trying Indian food and I gotta admit. It was delicious. I never thought I would find a restaurant in macon that would give me spicy food that was actually spicy! I always got served spicy like the taco bell sauce! That ain't spicy. But this food was. I loves it. Staff was so nice and caring. I am definitely coming here again no doubt!
