Starbucks

Aesthetically nice location. However, like many other starbucks locations it does lack plentiful seating especially when busy. One person unintentionally can take up a 3-person high top because tables are tiny. They could use longer tables and more comfortable chair options. Coffee was good, and the employees seemed very friendly welcoming people in. There was also some free parking!

Staff were super understanding when I forgot my wallet & were patient while I stepped to the side to set up Apple pay (had to get card info from my SO to input etc etc). They were patient and sweet when I asked about off-menu stuff and sugar-free alternatives. The store is clean and well organized. The food and drinks are excellent and served in a timely matter. I ended up chilling here all afternoon instead of going to the library just because I liked the vibe. Didn't get too busy but I was able to wait until the lulls to come up for more any additional orders.

One of the most energetic Starbucks that I always walk in for my coffee in the morning. The things is I am always treated with a smile and one amazing energetic Barrister Don who is always so welcoming and remembers all the customers names. People make places and for me Don epitomize the best of the best in what he does. Not just one great barrister but one amazing person on how he treats everyone that walks in. Lesson learned, treat customer with respect and you will get it that back in return and Vice Versa.

First time at this particular reserve location. I was a bit disappointed at the size of the menu: I realize it's not a Reserve Roastery like the ones in NYC or Chicago, but they did not have the same beans/blends as the mentioned ones. That being said the Hawai'i Ka‘u single-origin coffee I tried was really good. I didn't think it was chocolately but the nutty and slight fruity undertones were enjoyable.

Starbucks Reserves are always so much better than regular Starbucks so full points to them for having this Reserve smack dab in the middle of midtown and super accessible! The coffees are great, esp if you order the rotating specials they have. Unfortunately you can’t order the Reserve side of drinks on the app for grab and go but the baristas are pretty fast and really helpful Sadly this store closes at 6.30. Which is insane. I wish they’d be open till more reasonable later hours like at least 9? Literally all the coffee shops in the area shut shop between 6 and 7 so that’s my biggest grouse. My second grouse is that this is fairly small and often ALL the seats will be taken so you’ll kind of have no place to sit and enjoy your drink or food unless you wait for someone to leave or sit outside. And there’s almost always panhandlers and just… people outside who try to stop you and talk to you, which is really annoying but par for the course for anywhere in midtown Do suggest getting the special Reserve drinks here. Last got the Hazelnut Blanco and it was divine!
