City Tap Atlanta

I was at City Tap House last night for my birthday! I had a great time! The place is nice and pretty spacious. When I arrived for my reservation for my gathering, I was promptly taken to the space and was talked through some suggestions which was awesome. I got the sense that they have a handle on group reservations which is nice to know! Our server was great. It felt really good to be out and for this place to be open during so much happening... I just really appreciate the staff. I definitely will be back. :)

We came for a friends birthday. There were 8 of us and we were seated fairly quickly. The place inside is generic and plain sports bar/pub. I ordered the Goat pizza ($13) and it was very good. A bit on the sweet side, but delicious non the less. The burger and fries were perfectly cooked as well. You would not be disappointed by either. We did come for our friends bday and they brought out a complimentary lava cake but the inside was still cold inside. They saw that and ordered another one from the kitchen but this one was only slightly better. No lava just semi-soft chocolate. The cake was good overall. It was free so we didn’t mind. If you’re looking for a place to chill with some friends, this is a solid place for that and if you want to watch some sports, then you’re in for a treat.

We held a retirement party at City Tap for a work colleague. We were a large group of at least 55 people. Chris and his team provided excellent service. The food was fantastic, the staff was warm, accommodating and very helpful. I would recommend this restaurant for large events. They went above and beyond to ensure our group was comfortable and happy. Chris and team, thank you very much.

My daughter got married NYE 2019. We needed a fun and interesting place to hold a Welcome Reception for 100 people the evening prior to the wedding, as most of the guests were from out of town. I visited many different locations in Midtown Atlanta; one of those being City Tap. I really liked the energy and the menu which offered a lot of variety. We knew we would be having a few appetizers served. I must give a BIG shout out to Chris Ernest, Director of Marketing & Group Sales. He was on top of everything from the beginning. I actually started the process with someone else and once they left Chris took over. And I am grateful he did! The restaurant offers different programs and pricing to suit anyone’s needs. City Tap has an upstairs mezzanine which has a great view of the restaurant and at the same time gives you a private space for your function. They were very accommodating and the bartenders and servers were friendly and attentive. All of our guests had a great time, everything went smoothly and I couldn’t be happier! I would recommend City Tap!

City Tap House had been on my list of must try restaurants in Atlanta and glad I had an opportunity to visit. Went to City Tap House prior to a Ga Tech football game for some food and beer. The beer selection was very wide ranging. I went with a local IPA The menu ranges with Seafood, Pizza, Burger and other options. We order Mussels for appetizer, City Tap Burger and ABE Pizza. All were very good.

City Tap Atlanta has impeccable service and an impeccable staff! I ate here for dinner last week and I did not leave disappointed. I had the chicken wings and I hate that I had to share them with my family! They were the perfect combination of sweet and spicy, but not too hot. The fried chicken sandwich was better than "the national brand" and had an elevated feel to it. Kudos to our server Ty for being attentive, knowledgeable on the menu items and friendly. Chris Ernest is an angel in disguise. He's phenomenal to work with and no party is too large or too small to handle. Book them for your private parties!

Great addition to Atlanta! They have done a great job renovating the old space! The service was great, and the food was delicious. The fried chicken sandwich with truffle honey and brie was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Also -- get the hushpuppies!!! YUM. Also - great space upstairs for private events.

I love the outdoor seating at the bar! Oh, and they have a stellar list of craft beers on draft. Plus, they offer small pours so you can try a few! So nice! Their Hangover Pizza is so delicious... It's become a must-have for us, and it's big enough to split. The staff is super helpful and friendly. There's several televisions to watch sports. Oh, and there's live music sometimes, too!
