Come here whenever we visit my daughter in Decatur. Delicious food, gluten options, friendly faces and great atmosphere. Quick and easy or sit down area to take your time! Don’t miss this hidden jewel. Plus the plaza it is in has so many stores and dining options.
I came here for bagels and decided to come back to try the breakfast. Service was excellent (Thanks Brittany), the restaurant was very clean
and the food was fresh and good. Everything was in order and I would recommend that you give it a try.
The meal we had at Goldberg’s was so good! We each ordered bagel sandwiches and split a side of pancakes. Very filling and for a good price too!
Despite it being busy, the service was incredible. Trevor was an excellent and attentive waiter.
While we were waiting to be seated the girl behind the counter (her name was Victoria) was very courteous and answered some of our questions we had about the menu and provided great recommendations! She was very helpful!

Couldn’t stay away. I usually like to try new places, but this hit the spot. This time I had some of the best French toast I have had. My wife stuck with a bagel. Again great, efficient, and friendly service.
2023-3 initial review: Great bengals, sandwich’s and more. We went for lunch an had a Rueben, po’ boy and an Asiago beagle with cream cheese. All were great including the friendly service. You could have a wait for seating during peak times, but the wait is worth it. The front of the store has take out deli items.
Really nice New York styled deli. With delicious and hearty food. My waitress, Jackie, was extremely professional while still being open to small talk and generally charismatic.

Great Jewish deli- it was very busy as we went on the weekend. Service was good, they have dine in & take out options.
We ordered full stack pastrami sandwich that comes with side options of potato salad, fries, or onion rings. We chose onion rings- it was crispy & not greasy at all. The pastrami was tasty & totally stacked up. We ordered the chicken noodle with matzo ball, soup was very flavourful. An excellent meal!

Once a week I treat myself to Goldbergs for breakfast and it is always a just that, a treat. The food is good, service is great (ask for Jackie), and all at a good price. Get some begals to go for your cravings through the week.
Been coming here for years. Our waitress is Jackie is the best and the reason we return so make sure you request her table. Her customer service is awesome. The bagels are okay as well.
