Tucked away in the heart of Midtown Atlanta, Bangkok Thai Restaurant is a hidden gem that offers a taste of authentic Thai cuisine. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by the warm and inviting aroma of spices, instantly transporting you to the bustling streets of Bangkok.
The restaurant's cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make you feel right at home. We were a group of nine, and they were happy to accommodate us with a spacious table at the back of the restaurant. The extensive menu features a wide variety of dishes, from traditional favorites like pad thai and curries to more adventurous options for those seeking a spicier experience.
I opted for the Hot Green Curry, and it was a revelation. After years of searching, I finally found a restaurant that could deliver the authentic heat I craved. The curry was packed with flavor, and the portion size was generous. My friends were equally impressed with their choices, raving about the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Massaman Curry.
While the restaurant's interior might not be the most modern, it's clean and comfortable, and the focus is clearly on the food. The friendly and attentive staff made our dining experience even more enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the menu and were happy to make recommendations.
Overall, Bangkok Thai Restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. If you're looking for authentic Thai cuisine in a cozy and inviting atmosphere, this is the place for you. Just be prepared for some serious heat if you order the Hot Green Curry!

Very nice flavors and atmosphere. Dish is are authentic but serving sizes, at least for lunch, were small. That coupled with the cost knock my star rating from a five to a four. I had Pla-knew-when and hot tea and my wife had Sesame Chicken and a Diet Coke. Lunch cost over $40 with tip….no alcohol.

Nice and clean ambience. The service was friendly and the food came out quickly. The dish were pretty good. The exception would be the chicken satay which was a bit dry. The taste was authentic and the spices were on point. From the medium to Thai hot, I had no complaint. Would definitely give this place a try again if I'm near by.

I had the shrimp yom tom soup, the fried dumplings and chicken pad thai. The soup was amazing, bold yet zesty. The fried dumplings were my favorite. The service was fast and the waiter was very polite.

Great restaurant with an even better ambiance. Staff was attentive and food was ready quickly. Everything served was cooked to perfection. Desserts are made in-house and we’re divine.

The food was pretty good, tasty. Don't be spicy food is not really spicy, it's spice enough to enjoy the dish, so don't be afraid about it if you don't like hot sauce. The dessert was ok, I tried the tiramisu, it wasn't my favorite, I think is made with ricotta cheese. The service is great, friendly people.

Food is delicious and the servers when dining in are wonderful. Can’t say that about the you lady behind the counter. Every time we come she’s not friendly and broader line rude. Placed a to go order and when it came out she threw the bag on the counter. Coming for a hospitality background I find this to be very unprofessional. Her attitude just stinks.

3/2/23...I had the mild drunken noodle with chicken to go and it was SO DELICIOUS! Flavors were great and the little brown box it came in was too cute. Definitely ordering from here again!!
Edit: 3/3/23...Ordered again; drunken noodles and basil fried rice via Uber Eats for lunch. Very disappointed because this time I ordered with a coworker who wanted to try since I raved about the noodles day before. She tried it and said tasted weird. I tried and it definitely had a weird aftertaste like it was cooked in the same cookware after something else. We decided not to eat it. The rice was ok, but wasn't as flavorful as I'd anticipated. 1st experience was great. Maybe I won't order during lunch rush anymore; 1st order was around 3pm. I'll edit again if I try.

My friend and I stopped here because she wanted to go close by and was craving Thai.
I’m not a Thai aficionado but I know when the sauce is slightly bland, salty or not spicy enough.
My second favorite is Basil Chicken so I tried that with extra steamed veggies.
My drink was a new one. I’ve yet to try a good no sugar spirit so I decided to take up the Ketel One (which is also my second fav vodka) no sugar Cucumber & Mint.
Both drink and entree was surprisingly good.
The chicken was slightly over cooked but other than that the sauce was on point could definitely taste the basil and spices without the basil being overpowering. And the veggies were fresh, yay.
The drink was refreshing but definitely too much ice.
Our server checked in a timely manner to give us tone to catch up and didn’t hover which I appreciated. All in all a very good experience.
Another plus is Apple Pay!

Seriously, WOW! Wow wow wow. Very impressed. So fresh and homemade. Excellent friendly service. Wide variety of menu options. Spring rolls and chicken satay in particular were top knotch. I'll remember this place and wish I lived here so I could come back again soon.
