Love this place! If you ever want to feel at home this is the place to be. Staff is great and food is good. There have been a lot of homeless people that bother everyone on the patio, I have even had one fondle himself in front of everyone, kids, families, even dogs!!!. So glad the staff cares about our safety and makes them leave. Also, they have enchiladas and fajitas Tues-Thurs!!!!!

This is a great local establishment! I just moved into the neighborhood over the summer and immediately felt welcomed when I walked in to Moe’s and Joe’s. The bartenders are extremely attentive to their customers. The food is good, the drinks are good. It’s a definitely worth a visit if you’re in the neighborhood!

A friendly staple of the Virginia-Highland neighborhood. People come for the cheap pitchers of PBR and stay for hours enjoying the great conversation and food. The staff always cares about the patrons and their safety. I have so many female friends who come here alone to drink and hang out because they know the bartenders always have their back.

This restaurant has been a staple in the n'hood for nearly 80 years. It's one of the only bars in the area which is still holding on to their roots, and providing reasonable prices (even $3.50 pitchers of pbr), free poker, trivia, and daily specials. This dive bar has been a local watering hole for my friends and I for years. No frills, good people, and fun nostalgia!

Quite possibly one the last remaining Neighborhood Dive bars, that covers all aspects. The staff is friendly and helpful. You always feel safe, regardless of any incident. The food (oddly enough) is very good. It's a staple to VaHi and everyone's welcome with open arms.

My first time coming to this long standing Atlanta icon. I'm sorry I waited so long. Moe's and Joe's is the consummate neighborhood watering hole. We sat on the patio and enjoyed some great people watching along Highland, but also seeing what appeared to be a steady stream of regulars, most of whom knew each other, come in. Cheap pitchers of PBR, affordable, delicious food and fast efficient service will keep us coming back. I ordered the cheeseburger and my wife had the Cuban. Both were fantastic! This place is truly a gem not to be missed.
We went back yesterday and had a club sandwich and gyro. Both were outstanding!

To address the most recent reviews. The bartenders ALWAYS act in the best interest of the patrons. There are several instances of customers being harassed by homeless folks (indecent exposure, violent behavior, etc). They deal with these situations constantly. Please take that into consideration.

The MoeJoe burger is the best hamburger in town! Grandfather drank here, Aunt Kitty dated one of the original owners, we still eat there, and our children have been patrons. Family affair!

Great place for hanging out, since they welcome dogs on the patio. PBR pitchers are ridiculously cheap on Sunday and Tuesdays. In summer, would be nice to drop a baggie of ice into the pitcher to keep it cool. But when it's hot, the pitcher empties out pretty quick anway.

My grandfather was a regular customer of Moe and Joe's when building bridges in the Atlanta area. One of the owners would stop to visit with my grandfather at his home in Rocky Face Georgia. My aunt Kitty was a regular visitor at Moe and Joe's in the nineteen fifties. She dated one of the owner's. My wife and I think the Moe Joe burger is the best in Atlanta. Now my children live in Atlanta and think Moe and Joe's is a good watering hole
