Newk's Eatery

I'm glad that Newks is able to provide their excellent menu even during the pandemic. We ate here all the time back in the good old days, and we still get takeout when we can. I like the nearly contactless pickup that you can do if you order online. I'm a big fan of their salads, but everything else I've tried on the menu is good too. Their hot sandwiches are particularly tasty.

The owner was so helpful in helping me order long distance for the caring staff at my mom's facility. He took the 3 orders, gave suggestions, made sure that all was provided. The deliveries were on time as requested. The food was raved about by the staff. And my mom got some! Yay! Thank you so much for making it easy for me to say thanks long distance during tough times when staff are juggling their families and working extra hard to care for the residents. We are in Texas but enjoyed Newk's when we visited Atlanta in February so we knew they'd be a good source.

I had a bad experience at a different Newks (on Peachtree) but checked this place out because I was hungry and it was convenient. I am glad I did. The food was great! I ordered the Turkey Club. It was done well and the bread was toasty. The soup was the loaded potato. It was delicious and was presented well. They gave me a free soda. I dont know if it came with the meal or what. You get free breadsticks, pickles and condiments. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was super clean and comfortable. All under 10 bucks. I can't say enough about the place. Glad I didn't write the chain off from one bad experience.

It was very good. I had the Ultimate salad. Cheryl got some sort of salad that had roast beef in it. They were both huge huge huge. Had we known, we would have split one. The dressing was great, the toppings were plentiful and most of the salad was fresh. I say ‘most’ because I had some lettuce that had brown spots on it. I picked out a few pieces, then decided to quit looking for it. There were more than a few. Even still it gets a ‘Very Good’ rating because ...it was. The place was clean, and staff was friendly. If the lettuce would have been all fresh, I would give it a great rating.

I really enjoyed this place! It is fast, the service is decent and the food is fresh. Their macaroni was a bit overcooked and they probably shouldn't put the salad dressing on for you, but these are just minor things. The $9 pizza is personal size, so don't share with anyone lol. Overall, I recommend going here.
