10 pc Takoyaki - for $10. Worth it. Fresh & hot. Nothing bad but also nothing great.
Sukiyaki beef udon - perfect for winter. Flavor was good. Beef was tender and had a good quantity. Would order again.
Ginya Don - fresh fish and quality rice. Would order again.
Kushiyaki (grilled skewers) - mixed flavors and omakase style which I approve. It was very tasty. Especially the bacon.
Friends got the ramen…idk how it tasted but here’s some pictures. Lol~
I had a phenomenal experience at Gina Izakaya. The food tastes fresh and well seasoned. I especially recommend the Vegetable Sunomono. The atmosphere is cozy and well lit. A new Atlanta favorite.
What a great place for Japanese food, the service was great and the food just right. It’s got plenty of seating for a small building, but no outdoor seat is available. There is a small bar inside and seats so you can watch the food being prepared. The location does have booths, tables and a traditional table where you must take your shoes off and sit in the floor. They are always busy so plan ahead, but it’s worth the wait
A friend took my here during the pandemic one night. I seen it while riding to an event on Friday night and came back to have dinner again. We sat at the sushi bar. I tried this Japanese strawberry drink for the first time. It tasted like a pink starburst in a way. I got the spicy chicken miso ramen and it was so good and full of flavor. I also got the crunchy shrimp roll and the spicy salmon roll. They both were super delicious. I enjoyed every bite. The customer service was great. Quick, they were attentive. Even the gentlemen working the sushi bar made sure we doing okay.
We were in town for Dreamhack and looking for a good ramen and sushi place to have dinner. This Japanese restaurant did not disappoint!
So many items to choose from, and great detail on the menus (the sushi pictorial breakdown chart was great). Everyone in our party found something they enjoyed!
Came in about 30 minutes before closing and still received great service. The food was delicious and the sake was strooong lol. Customer service was good. I wish I had more time to sample more from the menu. The prices were great. I just might come back next time in in GA.
Great Japanese Izakaya restaurant. It is a sister store to the Shouya Izakaya in Doraville. Same good food, same good choices of Japanese food from Sashimi to sushi to Unagi Don. Much fewer seats then the sister store though.
Top place to go to for any celebration or event. It's my home away from home that has whiskey sours on hand at any time of the day. I would definitely recommend it, but call ahead first because they close in the middle of the day to reset for dinner service.
I am a regular for one reason: fresh and high quality Japanese food. Very authentic Japanese dishes that you wouldn’t normally see made well anywhere else. The fish is always fresh and I love the variety they have. You don’t just get tuna, but there’s multiple different types of tuna of different fattiness for every palate. Love the chefs and staff here, always make me feel welcome!!
Love this restaurant! The takoyaki and baked katsu curry are so delicious. Service is usually good, only one time it was slow. The interior is very nice and cozy.
