Righteous Room

I’ve been here a few times before, but yesterday I had the distinct pleasure of meeting the bartender Christina who berated me in a way that I’m missing in other areas of my life. She was rather impressed when I completed her secret fish n chips challenge. She told me I didn’t look fat when I sat down at the bar, so I guess she didn’t expect me to put all those fish n chips away. I’ve eaten a lot of fish n chips, and I’d seriously consider RR’s some of the best, if not THE best, in Atlanta. I look forward to coming back again soon for more fish n chips and personal insults. I decided to eat at The Righteous Room after seeing a movie at the Theater and i was happy with my experience. The Righteous Room is your typical bar restaurant— you have to be 21 to patron the bar and you walk in a sit down. A lot of people there are just there to drink and get drunk so expect that kind of crowd. My friend and I ordered the nachos and I really enjoyed them!! I got the wings and He got the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with the potatoes wedges. Let me first say the potato wedges are super crispy, well seasoned and yummy. Honestly not like a normal wedge more like a less fried potato chip they were really addicting!! I got the Honey Garlic wings— they were very crispy but they honestly didn’t have much honey or garlic flavour— they tasted more like buffalo to me. Either way i enjoyed my food and was satisfied with my experience at the Righteous Room.

First time coming and here and enjoyed it. It appears to be a dive bar but inside you find a curious collection of chairs and pillows and art. I ordered the righteous burger which was cooked exactly how I liked it. Potato wedges joined the plate. The side salad was a really nice field salad with lots of dark lettuce and a few chunky mushrooms. Over all it was better than expected and filled a burger craving. I won’t say it’s the best burger in town but it’s definitely better than average bar food.
