Hickory & Hazel Southern Table

I had a great meal here after a long and late flight. A lot of the restaurants in the airport were closed or crowded so I decided to eat near my hotel. Since it’s a hotel restaurant at an airport of course it’s a little pricey, but I didn’t leave feeling like I got scammed. My shrimp and grits were great and the table next to me had some tasty looking fried chicken and steak. The staff were friendly and quick. Thank you!!

I spent the weekend here for my bonus son's wedding. The wedding was absolutely beautiful! I loved the hotel. It felt clean when I walked in . Beautiful lobby with a good size bar. Elevators to every room! ( That helped me tremendously). The rooms were very clean with a huge bathroom! Comfy beds and pillows. And a view of the airport. My grandson loved watching the planes land and take off! (7th flr view). The only thing that I didn't care for was No Microwave. My son says that most hotels don't do microwaves because of safety issues. They do have a restaurant here but I didn't have time to eat here but my daughter said,it was pretty good, expensive but good! But who's complaining, after all, it is the Renaissance!! I really enjoyed my stay here! 😁
