Came here with a friend based off of a referral from another friend. Carroll Street Cafe is a whole chill vibe. We chose a nook to sit in which gave a cozy atmosphere. Our waitress was attentive and the food was amazing. I have been counting the days until I can go back. Definitely recommend making this a go to spot.

Wonderful breakfast place tucked into a neighborhood. Parking wasn’t hard to find. They don’t take reservations but on a Wednesday morning we easily sat our group of 5. Food was absolutely delicious. Most of my part had the special of the day a chicken sausage omelet. Food came out together, quickly and fresh. Cocktails looked great!
Highly recommend for those who like quaint, hippie, vibes.

We had a party of 4 for brunch at 10:30 am on Friday, 7/7/23. Note that the brunch menu is smaller during the weekdays than on the weekend. Service was great! Our waitress was so sweet. Food was decent and came out quickly. Portions were generous! We sat inside, which was really cute! Loved the chalkboard art.
I got the Pancake Plate ($16) with scrambled eggs and chicken sausage. The casing of the sausage was really hard, so I wouldn’t get that again. The pancakes were really good and came topped with fruit! The eggs were good too! Someone in my party got the Lox Plate ($15). The bagel looked good, but it came with cream cheese that you would get in a school cafeteria. They gotta up their cream cheese game! Someone else got the Potato Cakes ($7.00 I think), and they said they weren’t worth it for the price. I had the Cabbageccino, which was an iced cappuccino with brown sugar, and I personally didn’t like it, but someone else in my party did. I liked the Chai Latte. They have a nice coffee menu, all of which can be made hot or cold.
Decent brunch option if you’re in the area.

Cozy atmosphere, friendly service, and great food. The dining room was spotless, too. Waffles were perfectly crisp yet fluffy. My eggs were fluffy and paired nicely with the grits, fried chicken, and biscuit.
We will definitely be back!

When the whole table finishes all their food, it's because the food is that good!
My pancakes were nice and fluffy. The fruit was fresh. The vegan (soy) sausage tasted like sausage.
All of the staff was down-to-earth and very friendly. They allow dogs outside, and offered water. Speaking of water: their water tastes good.
Their mid-week breakfast/brunch menu doesn't have as many offerings as the weekend brunch menu. I hear their weekend brunches get really busy.

Cozy nook located in Cabbagetown. Ambiance and decor transported us to a local New York feel.
We visited for brunch during prime time on a Sunday and got seated quickly. Staff was really nice. Menu is extensive and has great alternative options. Many vegetarian options. The chicken sausage was great. The biscuits were fluffy and warm. The waffles were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Veggie benedict was super filling. The shrimp and grits was savory. Shrimp was heavily coated with the blacken seasoning (but still tasted good). The cheesy grits were perfect. Drinks and food arrived a bit out of order (food, then coffee, and the last dish about 15 minutes after the others). Would have preferred for the drinks to arrive first while waiting for food.
Note: parallel parking in front is limited, other parking are in surrounding neighborhoods

Come this morning, around 12 pm, was seated fairly quickly. Ordered the pancakes, and fried chicken and grits breakfast. First, the biscuit, the biscuit, THE BISCUIT! Phenomenal, no words. 🤣 I mean as a biscuit connoisseur, a fresh, hot one will be a new love language of mines! 😃 Server was good! Parking isn’t fun, especially in the rain, but the biscuit made up for it. Recommend!

My true description on the food would make one believe I was over-exaggerating, so I'll just say it's abso****inglutely AMAZING!!! The service was sweet and swift just as I like, and the atmosphere has that laid back, bluegrass pub feel that I enjoy! This place is an instant fav!

Food was good and the staff was friendly. We went on Sunday morning and only two other patrons were there so it made for a nice quiet breakfast.
We got Bacon Benedict, shrimp and grits, and biscuits and gravy. Coffee was bitter but definitely perked us up. The shrimp was heavily coated in blackened seasoning which seemed a bit too much. The grits have pieces of corn kernels mixed through out which was a tasty treat.

First visit today while visiting ATL and was very impressed. Stopped in for a quick bite. We sat down and was greeted with second. The waitress was attentive and gladly recommended dishes when asked. The shrimp were very good and the biscuits were amazing. Clean atmosphere and nice staff. This is a must return to someday restaurant.

I actually google good breakfast place and this came up. It is a nice quaint spot. Enjoyed the vibe, and my food was delicious. I had the belgian waffle, and ordered lamb sliders to take home. I'll be back for sure!

Best brunch place in Atlanta!!
Its near Krog Street and not that far from Ponce City Market.
The price is very reasonable and the food is delicious.
Parking is not bad if you get there early.
My favorite waitress is Morgan.
For some reason we always get her table.
I get their steak and egg with Belgium waffle and bacon in the side.
Yes, it's a lot of food 😅, but it is sooooo good!!

Me and my wife stumbled on this place after several tries of looking for a brunch spot. I'm so glad we came here! We ordered the shrimp and plantains for an appetizer and I was a little hesitant because I don't get them from anywhere but authentic Caribbean places. They weren't better then the ones I'm use to, but they were a good runner up. The charred shrimp were absolutely delicious. I liked the entire menu. I HAVE to go back and try a few things. And the Cuban coffee 👌🏾 Do yourself a favor and check them out. Parking was a bit tight, even in the middle of a Monday morning, I can only imagine what it'd be like on the weekend. Enjoy!

This is the second time we've been to this cute little Cafe. It's in an awesome little art district just behind Oakland Cemetery - Cabbagetown. The servers are so attentive and personable, and the food and dessert are always great. A local artist also does chalk murals on the inside wall that are ever changing, and the atmosphere is relaxing and comfortable. Can't wait to come back.

Ordered a round of 5 different tapas and all were out of this world. Great combination of flavors, unique parings, perfectly prepared. The old fashion was classic, not too sweet. Nice small area town, great vibe, definitely check them out.

So, we were impressed with the specialty cocktails and the beer selection . . . and then the tapas arrived. OMG! My stomach has a new happy place - and this is it!
We can NOT wait to try brunch!
PS - our server Katelyn was wonderful!

I’ve always heard great things about this place & finally got to check it out last night. The desserts are fabulous (made elsewhere) but the service was lacking & the drinks were all terrible. My first glass of port wine came covered in lipstick, I wiped it off with a napkin instead of making a fuss. My 2nd glass came full of sediment, full. The waitress acted like that was normal for port wine, took it away, no substitute or offer to replace, but it was on the bill. My husband ordered a Manhattan, specified stirred. It was shaken & foamy, ratios were off, possibly the worst Manhattan & undrinkable. In over 10yrs, I think it’s the first drink I’ve ever seen him send back. Our friends ordered the tequila specialty cocktail & champagne. I think they had to go to a liquor store to buy the champagne it took so long. My husband got his drink, returned it & ordered champagne before she got hers, but at least they both liked it. Our friend struggled through what he said was a terrible tequila cocktail. We will not be back unless it’s to grab dessert to go.

First time in ATL, this place was highly recommended, went early morning, amazing food, great staff, cozy environment. Next time we come back we are going again. 10/10

They should make cologne that smells as good as this shop! Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Amazing coffee and food. If you're not here, you're missing out. Oh yeah, Apple Pay (as all shops should have!) so you can walk/jog/bike there and leave your wallet at home.

Drinks are good. I believe the owner is racist. We were threatened with the police if we didn't leave, no explanation given. We were respectful, got up and left immediately when he refused to give a reason. The owner then followed us out and called the police. Needless to say I will not be back.

Fresh food beautifully cooked and great service. Very much enjoyed, well worth a visit!

Excellent food, quality, customer service. High class sandwiches, pastas, tapas, and appetizers. Good desserts! Fun atmosphere and they let us eat with our dog at the outdoor seating.
Stefanie Neumann
Food was amazing. Cute little spot. Service was good but could've been a little faster but our server was really friendly.
Lori Anderson Breitzke
Hamburger is good and lots of food for the value. Beer is reasonably priced. Service was fine. Really cute local place!

Loved it! Best simple lunch of brie and bread while enjoying the gorgeous day on the sidewalk. A trip to the bathroom found an unexpectedly current facility and on my way who could not notice the well-stocked liquor wall. The staff was polite and informative too. Wish it was close - I'd go often but it's a long way from Roswell.

Great waitstaff, great drinks and scrumptious but affordable food. A neighborhood delight!!!
