Awesome food, awesome ambience, friendly staff. Their Irani cafe-style masala tea is seriously good. So are the kebabs. And the chaats. Loved the place! A must-try if you're craving for some desi food with a twist..
I loved my experience with Indian food. I was fulfilled and satisfied with my meal. I would Def recommend this place!!
4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great place a grab a wrap. Tried the malai chicken and chicken tikka rolls and they were good. The quantity is good for the price and will say 1 roll can be enough for an average person.
The pricing for some of the other items seems a bit high compared to other places but I guess you are paying for the name and experience.
They also how boxed Indian spices but save your money to shop at an Indian store where you will get a better quality and quantity for a cheaper price.
Amazing Spot for Indian Food @ Ponce City!
Setup -- our first trip to Ponce City Market, which is shameful as ATL fanatics. So much to choose from, but this place definitely stuck out and so glad we tried it!
Food -- went with the lamb gyro / roll and it was awesome! The naan was cooked just right with a slight crisp to it but still plenty of moist that rolled great with the lamb. The roll had a perfect blend of spice, lamb, and veggies. We got the sauce (taziki'ish?) and hot sauce on the side. We could've eaten tons more, but went small on this trip. Based on this one item, I'm sure the rest of the menu is excellent!
Drinks -- had tons of beers in my day but never had a beer from India. Had a Taj Mahal and it was excellent!! Not sure if it just blended perfectly with the roll, but the beers was fantastic all on its own! Will definitely be on the lookout for this going forward. Wifey got a Gin Ricky Slushie and it also was great. Very tart but very, tasty.
Service -- counter service and staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Food came out super quick.
Scene/Vibe -- can take your food to go and eat out in the market, but there space inside and they decor is inviting and is filled with cool Indian culture.
Summary -- fantastic Indian spot with great food, tasty drinks, and super service!!
Super nice staff and glorious lamb sliders - portion is two for $12, and they are more small burger than slider. The smash potatoes are fingerling tots pressed and quick fried, with masala and spicy ketchup. Absolutely worth trying and an order is only $7. Glorious.
Tasty Tikka rolls, we got the chicken Tikka roll and malai chicken roll both taste good with a lot of veggies inside. The raita was a good combo with the Tikka, it was new, gave us a biryani feel. They also sell masalas and other items.. the shop has so many to look out for, the chat was good too. Finally the pineapple turmeric lime soda had a punch👌
Located in the ponce market place. I was traveling alone to atlanta and heard a lot about this place. The chicken tikka wrap was just amazing. The flavors were yummilicious. The chai was also really good that I eneded buying the loose leaf from the spicewala store located in the same market.
Loved it. The lamb burger and lamb kabob and the chai were all amazing. Perfectly spiced. Loved the ambiance. Portions are not large. Which is not a downside for me. My 19 year old needed two orders to be full for dinner. It was well worth the fun.
Loved this place & I get the hype! My partner and I were not too hungry so asked if we could order a kebab a la carte dispite it not being on the menu and they said “no problem!”, our eyes were bigger than our stomachs though so we left so full! We had a bit of a wait before we were able to order because it seemed this was one of the most popular spots in the market but it was no problem and food came out fast once we did order! The spare ribs were amazingly moist and tender! The crispy fried curry leaves on top we’re one of our favorite parts!
The staff was friendly and the atmosphere were on point! I even bought some of the Botiwalla spices to take home! Next time I’m in ATL this will be on the must do list!
Delicious food! We had the paneer tika roll, tandoori veggie roll and a mango lassi. Everything was wonderful. I don't think you need to use the complementary side of dressing that comes with the rolls. The flavors are perfect as it is.
This was my first time going after a flight from ATL. So I was hungry and ready to eat. I wasn’t expecting too much because I was exhausted and was too hungry. But I wasn’t disappointed. This place is beautifully decorated, beautiful music playing, and the food is literally steaming as it comes to you. The food is definitely desi food and if you’re in the area or live close by, please check these people out!! So good 10/10’ ❤️❤️🙌🏾 keep up the good work, guys!!
I loved the food and ambience of the resturant.
We tried the panner wrap, masala Chai and sev puri dahi puri all 3 were delicious. The best part about the Chai was it was served with parle g biscuits.
