Lamb Meatballs are spicy and dry. Octopus is good but also very spicy. Flatbread is what I recommend. Sourdough bread was REALLY good! The service provided to us was extraordinary. The environment is very pleasant here, and all kinds of people are welcome. We were all different kinds of minority each, and we felt VERY comfortable. It was hard to leave because of the relaxing atmosphere. If they had better food, I’d have dessert and stay. Not planning to come back because two of the dishes I ordered were so-so. I wanted to love this restaurant! BEWARE: the only way in is STAIRS! They do not mention it anywhere. My friend was with a CANE and getting in and out was difficult.

I made reservations for my birthday to come here (option to mark reason for visit in reservation). We arrived early and were seated by the time of our reservation. The place was packed on a Monday evening. We would have waited at the bar had there been a seat at the bar- there were literally none. Which, great for the place, glad they are busy, but just don't arrive around 7-8 thinking you'll be able to grab a drink. Or server was pleasant and present without being overbearing. He made good recommendations and answered all my questions. The fried goat cheese wasn't what I was expecting. It's like a funnel cake exterior in honey, with a goat cheese interior. Good, but just know what you're getting so you can fully enjoy them. The charcuterie board was great, I would get it again. I got the duck, and I love duck, and I'm used to getting an almost oily full flavored meat. Maybe it's because it was smoked (I love smoked foods) but the duck was a little tough and tasted more like smoked turkey to me. It was good, but not what I was expecting. Next time I'll go with one of the flatbreads. My husband got the smoked pork chop and it was great. I got the broccolini and it was pretty good, had a real nice char flavor to it. My husband got the artichoke side and he said it was a great blend of sweet and savory and a good compliment to the pork chop. Both our cocktails were great, I got the Mayan medicine, a mezcal cocktail. It was very smooth and the honey, lemon and ginger weren't overpowering, and the rye whiskey really mellowed out the mezcal while retaining the smoke flavors. I was thrilled that the seasonal gelato was "sweet cream" so I got the affogatto dessert- the espresso was also good. The gelato was fantastic. My husband pointed out that the decor was "curtains" but the furniture was nice and there's an open kitchen. The servers wear white dress shirts and jeans with an apron. The manager wore a flannel with jeans. I'm all for comfort but it did seem to clash with what felt like an upscale restaurant. It didn't detract from my experience, but just was apparent enough for me to take notice of it. I would come back for the cocktails and to try a few other of the appetizers. I would say you can't really go wrong ordering all of those and skipping the mains.

This could have easily been a five star rating. Overall we had a wonderful birthday celebration for my adult son. This is a very nice restaurant in midtown with a great menu and wine list. Great atmosphere and bar area. My main complaints were the Cote De Boeuf was too fatty and grizzly. Ribeye is generally fatty but for $98 this steak should have been trimmed better. My other complaint was the service was a bit spotty. Our server was great but she seemed to get distracted leaving us sitting and waiting for items. Again overall it was a nice dinner, just not worth of 5 stars.

A nice place with excellent service, the food is good. The fish of the day, the duck and the artichokes were excellent. The lamb keftedes and the beet salad are very good except that the beet salad they should add more beet

We had a great time there. Went before the Nutcracker at the Fox. We initially couldn’t get a table but I checked the day of and a few tables had cleared up. Service, food, atmosphere, everything was excellent. They asked when the showing was so we could finish dinner and make it in time. They boxed our leftovers for us. About a 10 min walk from the theater. Pricing was not outrageous for the experience we had. Would recommend!

Delicious! Everything we had was exceptional! The portions are small, but the food was incredible. Our waiter was also extremely helpful and friendly. You will most likely need a reservation, unless you want to sit at the bar, so call ahead. There is also a dress code. Definitely worth the money and the trip there. We will be back!

Ecco delivered another terrific dinner. The service and offering is top notch. Loved my halibut and the appetizer rounds were fantastic. Drinks were a terrific choice. Desert choices were all solid. Will definitely be returning! Only feedback is they really need to work on lighting. The mirror lights were like staring into the sun.

Food was good, not for everyone though. Must have a well developed palate to appreciate the great tasting food. Service was excellent. Vegetarian options are available.

Delicious, amazing, wonderful! Versatile place, great for a date night, business trip or the in-laws. Food is wonderful, service is friendly and attentive. Music is on point, atmosphere is great. Had a bit of a strange wait time between apps and mains. However, im just nitpicking because this place is so good. Lovely spot, pretty walkable for a good chunk of midtown. I’ve eaten here twice and will be back.
