They know their business! Simple and delicious. I loved being in the back watching the chefs make the pizzas, while chowing down on a margherita pizza with pepperoni. My husband got one with lots of veggies and was in love. One size fits all pizza. Large with 8 slices each. A must eat!
My fiancée and I moved to GA about three months ago from Philly. I had been lamenting the state of my pizza enjoyment until I found this place. Drove 30 minutes to try it. 1000% worth it. Fresh ingredients, delicious dough, great flavors. I prefer a more well done crust but for the style it was stupendous. Can’t wait to make an excuse to come back. Thank you for making great pizza.
I went here because “One Bite” rated an 8.3 (best rating in Atlanta). I drove 30 minutes. The pizza was good and the atmosphere was good. Service was okay-ish. I ate the napoleon pizza. Could have been cooked a little longer.
Antico Pizza Napoletana is a gastronomic haven for pizza aficionados. Their Italian-style pizza is nothing short of a culinary masterpiece. From the moment you step in, the aroma of freshly baked dough and rich, savory toppings envelopes you in a warm embrace. Simply the best pizza in Atlanta.
I recently dined at Antico Pizza, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The wood-fired Margherita pizza was a true delight. The crispy crust had the perfect char, and the taste was simply amazing. Every bite was a burst of flavor that left me craving more.
However, I do have to mention the parking situation, which was a bit challenging. With only four parking spots in front of the restaurant, it can be quite unreasonable, especially during busy times. Thankfully, we found a solution by parking across the street at McDonald's, which was convenient but not ideal.
Overall, Antico Pizza's incredible wood-fired pizza and fantastic taste deserve a solid five-star rating. Just be prepared for the parking challenge and consider alternatives nearby.

It was my first time at Antico, but it was definitely not the last. The pizza is delicious, we had the lasagna pizza, and the Margherita pizza with pepperoni, they were both delicious, you can't go wrong if you choose any of these, or both.
Like many I put Antico on my list after seeing it was Barstools top rated pizza in ATL. Didn’t know what to expect going into the restaurant but left extremely happy.
Once you walk you place your order at the counter, and then walk into the dining area/kitchen which is basically a small warehouse. The seating is family style 30ft long park bench tables and the kitchen is open air and right next to the dining area. An employee will bring you your pizza on a ginormous pan and you dig in.
The pizza isn’t a thin crispy crust, it is a fluffy, moist, doughy, chewy crust. We ordered the Bianca and Margherita, both were fantastic. My wife favored the margherita and I favored the Bianca. The Bianca is made with buffalo mozzarella which absolutely made the pizza, it’s an extremely moist cheese with strong buttery notes. If I had it to do all over again I would try the “Sophia”. It seemed the Lasagna pizza was the most popular amongst the customers we dined with.
There is a small toppings area by the kitchen that has oils, peppers, cheese, etc everything you could want, but you won’t need them as it is great as it comes.
I would advise visiting at an odd time if you want to eat in store. We visited at 4pm on a Sunday and by the time we left it was packed.
Great pizza, good prices, happy all around.
hands down the best pizza and we came from NY.
Worth the hype 100%.
$23 for a huge pie and order Diavola if you can handle a bit of heat.
the char is perfect, and crust is chewy and not too thick or too thin. just the best. a must visit if you are intown.
it's near GT but there's parking in the back.
Long time customer. Good pizza, good environment if you are dining in. We got the Margherita pizza for lunch. Good to share for two people. Had to wait a little as pizza is cooked to order. They also have a toppings station with garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil, spicy oil, chopped peppers and whole peppers. The peppers are pretty spicy.
Was in the area visiting and tried Antico's for the first time. Showed up at 3pm and had the pizza within a couple minutes. Went with a Capricciosa and the San Gennaro. Had a good overall taste. If I could only have one, it would definitely be the Gennaro. Excellent italian sausage, good sauce and so was the cheese. Neapolitan crust was okay, little doughy, thin pie overall, lots of flop. Hit it with crushed red pepper, parmesean and a little minced garlic. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it an honest 7.4 on a national level. Maybe a little higher for the area. Still likely one of the better options in Atlanta. Washed the pizza down with an Italian Peroni. Place wasn't too busy for lunch, service was good. No issues. Good experience overall.
