We ordered the chefs table (3 course meal with dessert), an anti pasta dish and a main dish (short ribs , suggested by our server, they were not a favorite). Two dishes in particular really excited me. It was the second dish on the chefs menu, a pasta of some sort with scallops and the cinnamon empanadas with ice cream dessert. They were delicious and why I want to revisit, although I know they may not be on the menu when I return.

Italian food is one of my favorite cuisines and this place did NOT disappoint! Wow wow wow. This food was SO good! I came for a mid week dinner date with a girlfriend who loves Italian food as much as I do. There’s indoor and outdoor seating here, we chose to eat outside since the weather was tame. Our server was great. She provided great recommendations as it was our first time there. While we were waiting for food, we killed plenty of drinks since we were catching up. Our entrees were delicious. The restaurant changes the menu very often but they have staples that they switch up every season. I got the seafood risotto and my friend got the bolognese. The flavors in each dish were very rich. For dessert, we got gelato which is made in house. Another banger. I’ll be back to try other items on the menu! So delicious!

I had the pleasure of dining at Bucca Lupa recently, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the meal was a delight for the senses. The food was truly amazing! To kick off the evening, we ordered a bottle of wine recommended by the knowledgeable staff. It perfectly complemented our meal and set the tone for a wonderful dining experience. For our appetizer, we tried the Spicy Yellow Fin Tuna Crudo, and it was nothing short of exquisite. The freshness of the tuna combined with the perfect amount of spiciness made each bite a burst of flavors. The dish was beautifully presented, and I could tell that attention to detail was a priority in the kitchen. Moving on to the main course, we opted for the Southern Fried Chicken Parm, and it did not disappoint. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, just as it should be. The rich tomato sauce and gooey cheese added layers of flavor to the dish, making it a real comfort food masterpiece. The portion size was generous, and every bite was a true pleasure. Throughout the meal, the service was impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They were more than happy to answer any questions and made excellent recommendations. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, making it an ideal place for a relaxing evening with friends or a special someone. All in all, Bucca Lupa exceeded our expectations. The food was outstanding, the wine was delightful, and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend trying their Spicy Yellow Fin Tuna Crudo and Southern Fried Chicken Parm – you won't be disappointed! Whether you're a local or just passing through, Bucca Lupa is a culinary gem that should not be missed.

Probably the best restaurant I’ve eaten at in Atlanta. This was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. I would highly recommend this spot!

I think this place is overrated. Not bad. But doesn’t deserve 5 stars and a 3 week waitlist. People who give it 5 stars and are amazed either never tried real Italian pasta or had other food than we did. The location is a bit sketchy around the restaurant. The interior is not too appealing for my taste - dark and old, but not in an antique way. We had Lamb Tortelloni and Spaghetti Carbonara. Both were just ok. Not worth a $140 bill at the end of the meal for those 2 dishes, 1 appetizer and 2 glasses of wine. Staff was very friendly though. I don’t know..didn’t catch the vibe of this place.
