Rounders Pizza

Hate to say it, but our treasured Rounder’s has officially gone down hill. The pizza takes forever so don’t be in too much of a hurry. There is a lack of clean cutlery. The salad bar is not kept up or kept stocked. The place is not clean. The floor is sticky and there is inches of dust on stuff. Whoever is in charge needs to get this place in check. The staff is loud and talks about inappropriate stuff in the back. A girl was literally doing something on her phone while taking my order at the front desk. I hope this place can make a turn around because the pizza and salad are pretty good.

Quality of pizza is up & down at times. Typically, I still prefer Rounder’s over any other pizza franchise In Athens. Online prices are very misleading and have been for quite some time I was informed by staff after I questioned the total of my purchase, and without any effort to update the online pricing obviously. One Topping Large shows to be $11.99 and I was charged $12.79, and then an additional $1.00 for half Pepperoni and another $1.00 for half Canadian Bacon resulting in a $3+ inflated price with the addition of tax. Staff, however, was nice and pleasant.

This was a weekly spot for us. Over the last few visits it just keeps going downhill. Initially, I thought we caught them on a bad night, no big deal. I can no longer cling to that hope. They are keeping the dining area at over 80 degrees intentionally. No ice in the sofa fountain even after several people mentioning it. Apathy reigns. In the next 18 months several places will be going out of business and I fear this will be one of them
