Stephen’s (or as I like to call it, Steve’s) is by far the most incredible, amazing, wonderful, magical bar in Athens. Not only does Steve’s have divine cuisine, their drinks are poured to perfection. The atmosphere is unlike any other bar. It feels more like home than anywhere else ever has. The entire Steve’s staff is like family to me. Every time I walk in I am greeted with a big kiss on the lips from everyone working.

Stephens is such an amazing restaurant and bar. The food is incredible, drinks are delicious, and the atmosphere is the best. Also, Logan Hiller is the most amazing bar tender and always makes my Stephens experience the best!!

Visiting local friends while on vacation. Bouncer man handled my ID because I’m out of state. Then cracked it and said I couldn’t come in because there was a crack in my ID. Love when bars hire frat kids that get off on a power trip. Now I need to get a new ID. Don’t go here.

I love the atmosphere at this bar. The staff is always accommodating and prompt. The food is good for the price. Once the bar scene opens up stephens really shines. Everyone flocks here because of the incredible vibe. It is by far my favorite bar in Athens.

It's a perfect college bar serving bar food. We had great service. Basic cheap alcohol choices & quick bar food. They were the only place open & willing to take a reservation after OU Med School Graduation...these area restaurants could make a $$ if they were open after graduation.

Came in for Ohio University's homecoming and had an (early) dinner here. 7pm on a Thursday is good for us, but early for a college town. There were a handful of students there.
The bread and the oil, balsamic vinaigrette and herb (dip) we're rediculously good!! Two bread baskets later.....
We shared the grilled salmon with a pesto drizzle -- served with Rice Pilaf and sauteed vegetables.
It was delicious!!
When we return --- we will try something else as we traverse their menu --- because there seems to be plenty to choose from.

Don’t judge the looks of the building. Good service and great food. I would highly recommend the Cod and flatbread.
