I hate hot dogs but i love o Betty's. I usually get the chili cheese fries and slaw. The burlesque girl theme is amazing. You can get brats during the day instead of dogs. O Betty's....i love you
Food was fresh and yummy! I ordered their special the sexy Sadie and the hotdog with coleslaw and bacon. Both were delicious! Their garlic fries were definitely very garlicky! Because of the pandemic, we ordered at the window to go and sat on a street bench to enjoy our meal.
My husband and I stayed nearby Athens for our anniversary and visited O'Betty's after a hike. This is such a unique spot- I've never tried anything like it! We loved the ordering window and the fun combinations. I wish I could remember what we got, but it really doesn't seem like you can go wrong.
Beef hot dogs were good, the natural casings had a bit of snap as expected and were juicy inside. Pillowy buns held up well and didn't fall apart. Thoughtfully wrapped to make easy to eat. Fresh toppings and boardwalk style fries rounded out our meal. Baked beans were quite underdone. Beverages offered are cans of pepsi, diet pepsi, mountain dew, and water. Very helpful staff.
O'Betties is an original, Creative restaurant that cares about its food. It tales it dogs and various sausages to a new level of both quality and fun. The menu offers a lot of great combinations of meat and toppings, from chili to slaw, mushrooms picked etc etc. Live the combos with Swiss cheese. Great fries too. A must visit spot for the late night Athenian, or those looking for some exciting new tastes. The theme is burlesque (!) And is very fun and quirky. The place is a feast of obscure images. Enjoy!
This is a fun eatery. The hotdog options here are fun and have great flavor so you have many choices depending on your mood. Would highly suggest it for people visiting and looking for a place to try. Their garlic fries are also very good.

What an amazing find while passing through Athens. The selection of meat along with toppings and buns can keep you busy for an hour. The pretzel bun and the French bun were perfect with the meals that we ordered. The chili cheese fries were very good even though I'm not a fan of their seasoning. As you are enjoying your dinner the decor of this restaurant is intriguing as well and will keep you busy looking with amazement at many vintage Hot Dog advertisements and other items. Very good work on the interior design. There are so many hot dogs here you could go 20 times and not try them all so we will definitely be back over and over to work our way through the menu. Our only regret is we didn't get a chance to stop by there on the way home. This is a must for a small brick and mortar non-franchise restaurant. See you soon.
