Great first date spot. Especially outdoors on the picnic table. The pink drink was a good first drink for my date who has never been to Starbucks before. I had the white chocolate mocha and it was exceptional. My date finished my drink.

They get busy at times but otherwise prep time is pretty reasonable I just place order on the app and walk to store from my workplace about 5min and never have to wait here

Ordered a drink and breakfast in the early AM and asked if I could charge my phone for just a few minutes so that I can call AAA for car trouble. They said I can only charge it for a single minute while I’m waiting for my food and drink to come out but then I have to go. Tried to reason with them as a paying customer if I could just stay for less than 5 minutes — they still said no. I understand we are in a pandemic and they don’t want people hanging out in the store, but I just needed to have a working phone for a few minutes so that I could call for a quick tow? Anyway my phone died, and I took my Starbucks to the Waffle House where they let me charge my phone without even ordering anything. Athens is supposed to be a supportive community and this Starbucks is not it. Oh, and they didn’t have what I ordered either.

This staff is so wonderful! I am a teacher, and sometimes I am there super early in the morning. The manager and staff of baristas are so helpful and accommodating for all of my last minute coffee needs. Today, I ordered a Starbucks traveler for a group of teachers, as a pick me up, and it was ready within 20 minutes with fresh, delicious, dark roast. The group at the downtown store had all the coffee accouterments and half and half ready to go. Great service and delicious coffee!

Would rate this any SB a five star as I love the brand. But as they continue to hold hard fast to mask and social distancing hard lines, it distracts from the experience.
It’s time to relax the hardline and open your indoor seating.

They were kind even with the over 25 ppl waiting in the street, but we don't plan to go again. We waited for over half an hour with an app order. Methods need to be reevaluated, maybe a few more staff members, there were only 2.
