Unfortunately, the worst Thai food I’ve had. I love Thai and I’m not overly picky. The egg rolls were the best part. Hey we’re full of chicken rather than a ton an cabbage which is usually the case. The fish sauce was extremely watery instead of a bit thicker for dipping. The fresh rolls were full of cabbage and lacked flavor. I ordered the pad Thai and was extremely disappointed in how dry it was. The other two plates we ordered were just as dry. When we asked for more sauce, we were told it was made in the pan and we couldn’t have any. I’ve never been told this before. Peanut sauce is easily scooped up and served on the side... The chicken was equally as dry and flavorless. Lastly, the noodles were not stirred when being cooked because they came in giant clumps. I’d say the kitchen was careless and the food reflected that. I would not return.

Food was good (otherwise I would have given just one star). Service was terrible. Cashier was rude. Order was not complete and we had to go back. Parking was a pain. Sad because under the right management, this place could be great.

I go to restaurants because I love good, authentic food. Siri Thai had great food at a reasonable price. I took my girlfriend here for a nice dinner. We had an appetizer, two entrees, and a dessert for $30. Everything tasted great. The service could have been a little better. Our appetizer came extremely late, and it took some time to get our drinks refilled. I did only see two people working though. Overall, it was a classy place with a small but friendly staff and great food at a reasonable price. I'll be back.

Okay, so they are ridiculously understaffed and handle far more take-out orders than sit-in diners, so don't expect "fantastic" servers if you do date night in the restaurant. The entrance was also confusing because the restaurant is 2 stories, and the top door is locked despite its far superior signage relative to the ground-level entrance in the parking lot on Prince. That being said, the tropical fried rice and tofu curry are awesome and the staff is quite friendly. The food came out surprisingly fast considering the number of take-out orders and the meal was reasonably priced. I recommend the place, just to-go.

Four years ago we discovered this place on the east side of Athens. We continue to enjoy it today. Nice environment, clean, and friendly staff. We like our food, traditionally Thai hot, and when they see us coming they know without asking, how we want it. We LOVE THEIR DUCK and the SINGHA beer!! Lots of chooses from their lunch menu, smaller portions. Dinner menu is larger portions and a little more expensive, well worth it. We love our left overs.

Nice lunch selection. I tried the Gra-Team with tofu at level 2 spiciness and it was perfect for me. My boyfriend ordered the appetizer sampler before we ordered our entrees, and when I asked the server what each of the five things was, she said she didn't know, nor did she make any effort to find out. I didn't get the impression she was new, perhaps just lazy?
Not good. I ended up eating a bite of a chicken spring roll on accident, and I'm a vegetarian so that is obviously something I try to avoid doing. Everything in the sampler was fried so it was hard to tell. It was nothing to freak out over, we just laughed it off, but the server really should know what food she is bringing to you. C for effort, but my entree really was good so 4 stars. Would definitely go again, and request a more thorough explanation if I decide to try any more mystery samplers.

First person was seated at 17:54. It is 19:22, which is well over an hour. Our table of 4 didn't get water until 30 minutes in. Appetizer order was not delivered 40 minutes after being ordered; those is unacceptable. I wonder when the main dishes will be served. They'll have to be good to raise this review to 2 stars.
Answer: food served at 19:41. Mediocre at best. Small serving sizes. Not good enough to raise to 2 stars.
Constructive feedback: if understaffed, customers should be warned or given a time estimate. I used to work at a Thai restaurant.

When traveling we are always looking for the best local Thai food. We were driven to visit Siri Thai by previous reviews. We must have caught them on a bad night. The beer selection is terrible with nothing but light American and Asian beers. They list on the menu “16oz” beer but , of course these are 12oz. However, the observed wine pour was liberal. I had Tom Kah soup but I would swear it was made from cow’s milk and not coconut milk. We both ordered similar dishes, and both “hot” with spices. We were warned hot is really “hot”. We insisted. The food came and was tasteless. It reminded me of the over-cooked vegetables in middle school. We complained that the food had no spice and we were brought a variety to spice-up our dinners. Again, we were warned to be careful that “these spices are really, really spices.” We added ALL of the two small demi-cups of spice and finally got the food to have some flavor. The staff was pleasant and quick so it pains me to say, regardless of the staff’s attentiveness, we won’t be back.
