I wish I had read the reviews before coming here. While the food is really good, the customer service is lacking. Our waitress brought our food to us and turned around and walked away. Didn't ask if we needed anything or if we were satisfied.

Nice open atmosphere, great outside seating, delicious pizza, large slices!
Despite all that, service can be very slow. On slow nights or on busy nights, your server is hard to find....
Transmet has been my pizza stable for years. They remodeled and created more space,bars tops/rail for drinking on the side walk and a nice bar downstairs. It looks lovely.
HOWEVER, their remodel got rid of the hostess stand at the door, its now appears to be walking up to the downstairs bar..... Doesn't feel as friendly. But my biggest complaint; after their remodel, they no longer offer their specialty pizza slices. Now you pay $2.25 base for a slice, and then $1.05 for each additional topping... its a pretty big bummer when you want more than just pepperoni or cheese. Specialty slices was the number one reason i'd recommend this place, grabbing a BBQ chicken slice for $4, as ALWAYS worth it.

Service is usually attentive, but it generally takes over 25 minutes to receive your food. The past two times we've visited our pizza was cold. Congealed cheese - not a favorite.
The menu has some cool variations, but execution of the dishes leaves something to be desired.
If you've got some time on your hands and have had a couple beers, it's not a terrible way to spend an evening.

I hosted my rehearsal dinner here and everything was wrong. First of all, they messed up my reservation time so that when we arrived at 6:30 (what I had agreed on with the event coordinator) the wait staff said they were told we wouldn't be there until 7:30. So none of the food had even been started in the kitchen. After waiting for them to set up the room for us for a half hour, the food came out randomly starting at 8:00 with the pasta, then 8:20 with salad, then 9:00 with pizza. The pizza was so badly burned that half of it was inedible. We ran out of water and other beverages multiple times throughout the night and the waiter only refilled them twice. I attempted to email this establishment twice with no response and called more than 5 times only to be told that the manager was "unavailable." We paid very good money for my rehearsal dinner the night before my wedding, and received some of the worst service I have ever experienced. I could honestly excuse the terrible things that happened on the day of if anyone who worked there had even tried to get back to me after I reached out repeatedly. Do not plan your special events here.

Went there at 4 pm, the place was almost empty. The pizza was okay however I waited more than an hour to get my single slice while the rest of my tables FULL PIZZAS came out in about 35 minutes. Service was terrible. Our waitress sat behind the bar, flipping between channels on TV the whole time checking on us maybe once. My sister ordered white pizza. They just put ricotta cheese on regular pizza with sauce. My sister ate it anyway because of how hungry we were. This is a disgrace of a pizza place. Save yourself the trip and never go here

We absolutely love this restaurant & it’s team of people!! I booked a date & hosted a surprise 50th birthday party for my sweet husband... This owner & his staff were absolutely incredible!!!!! From the day I booked with Chad, two months before the date through the day of the party they were absolutely exceptional!!! I settled up ONE time for everything and it was SUPER easy for a party of 60 people. I had a local musician performing in the upstairs area & they setup a gourmet pizza, and salad buffet that was very good!!! I had a cake made & room decorated all to my personal preference & liking. This was an incredible experience! Location, building, service, and food was ALL 5 Star!!!!

Great pizza. I wish they had better service. It always takes longer than we expect. In our last visit. We saw our pizza sitting on the counter ready to come to our table, but it sat there for a while before our waitress brought it out. If you have got time and patience, and want good pizza by the slice - Transmet is a great option!

Service was terrible. My table didn't get our drinks until 45 minutes after we ordered them. My husband never even got his at all...he finally just went up to the bar and got it himself. Over an hour later, we don't have our food. My friend's drink was wrong, my salad was wrong, and my other friend was told they were out of the ingredients AFTER they had ordered it an hour earlier. Once pizzas started being delivered, my husband and I STILL never got our food. I ordered one slice and he ordered a sandwich. After an hour and a half, we finally just cancelled the order. Oh, and my other friend never got his pizza either. We had about 7 at our table, but the place was nearly empty. There was obviously no manager on duty, but if there was, they would have gotten an ear full from many unhappy people.
