Ah barbecue. We are all truly blessed to live in a region where this culinary sorcery is performed. When well executed there is no greater expression of love for your fellow man. Pulaski Heights achieves this level of greatness. The meat is tender and flavorful. The facilities comfortable and clean. The staff friendly and knowledgeable. My visit on 6/7/22 will be the first of many.

Ordered the pound of Brisket with 2 sides… I had to stop myself from eating everything, because I needed to save a little for my lunch on nightshift. Sooo good! Brisket is packed with flavor and oh so juicy and tender. Needs no sauces, but the sauces on it are excellent too!

Loved the atmosphere, disenchanted with the food. This was a cool environment to hang out and enjoy the company of others but I do not understand the hype with the food. Our table came with four homemade sauces. All of them were unique, in a not so great way. While I'm sure some people like their sauces, we didn't care for any of them and noticed the lack of a normal/mainstream style BBQ sauce. This wouldn't be a huge deal, but the point of getting meat at a place like this is to have stellar sauce to put on it. The baked beans were fine. The mac & cheese was grainy. The coleslaw had a distinct olive oil taste (which isn't a bad thing, just not what I'd expect from coleslaw). I may or may not come back here to give it a second chance because this visit did not sell me on this place what-so-ever.

Ten star service, two star food. The mac and cheese was great, everything else was just ok. The pulled pork was wet like it came out of a crock pot, the baked beans were just beans floating around in some sauce and the Cole slaw was REALLY bad. I really had high Hope's for this place but it was not very good.

Ok. Look. They make a SELECT amount of stuff when they’re out, they’re OUT. That’s their business model. Don’t leave bad reviews because you came late. Their food is delicious. I got the burnt ends with a side of Mac and cheese and collard greens. Being a Californian, I was totally unsure as to whether I’d eat it all. I did. The wait staff were incredibly friendly, warm and nailed the random assortment of drinks my group ordered. Well done!!! Highly recommend for anyone in the area.

Great atmosphere, great staff and even better food! The meats and sauces are good but you must have the collards!

The ribs felt a little overdone and dry for me. But I liked that they have many vegetable dishes, which is not commonly found in barbeque restaurants. Loved the roasted cauliflower. Outside picnic tables and benches desperately need repair or renovation.

I was referred here by some colleges. I’ve never been to the restaurant before and was unfamiliar with the process and signage. So I knocked on the door and a lady cracked the door open and said in a curt tone “ order on line as it says on the door” and then shut the door. It wasn’t what she said but more how she said with indignation. I believe people make the world go round. It’s unfortunate that management in some cases forget who butters the bread. I happen to be in management with over 200 employees. I tipped on line also as I didn’t want the employees not to benefit. Customers like me. Thanks Bruce Andujar
