Hooked on the Tri-tip Sandwich here. Always cooked to perfection. They use quality meat on a pit BBQ with Red Oak - no shortcuts! I'm local so it’s easy but if I was driving through on the 101 I'd definitely make this place a late lunch or dinner stop-over!
Hands down the best pulled pork I have ever had. Insanely good and the prices are very reasonable. There are very few restaurants in SLO county that make food at this quality regardless of price.
OMG! Ever since I have tried just a bite to start with and then a taste of something else and now I think about them every day. I have been back by myself a few times now everything I have tried is better than the last. This is the funny part, I really don't like bbq at all but the difference with this place is that they don't soak the food in bbq sauce. Mac and cheese another of my least favorite foods but yet I gotta have it. I curse the day I was introduced to these guys they have now become my go to place hands down the food is the best. It's kinda hard to find at first but once you do you won't forget it. The people who work there are all very friendly I feel like part of the family al ready, ha ha soon enough my friends soon enough. I with all my heart say you have to try them or go on living in the dark of what a good no make that a great bbq is all about.
Best bbq in SLO county. Everything hand made. Can call orders ahead of time. Will run out of ribs or tritip on weekends, Tuesdays and Fridays. Along with pork ribs. Call ahead to order or availability. Or you will be skunked. Also, if your meat is tough. Don't microwave it after you take it home.
Scotty's is easy to miss if you're just driving by but it is definitely a great place to check out. The BBQ is excellent and they have the best coleslaw I have had in a long time.
This BBQ will make you say daaayum! I just got some today. Excellent with or without sauce, coleslaw done the way I like it, not drowned in mayo. I wish it was closer to my home in the O.C. but since I come to Paso at least twice a year, I'll make the 10 minute drive to Scotty's.
One of the only bbq places in town. The prices are good. Food is too and they deliver to the bar next door. It helps especially after happy hour.
Good mac and cheese with extra fixings. Pulled pork was also good, but the Bbq sauce was okay. Nice place to eat near the Carlton Hotel.
