A mix between a sit down and counter service. Food comes out quickly and the chips are nice and salty with flavorful salsa. Very filling, so plan to come hungry or share a plate.

I’ve only gotten takeout but they by far have THE best chicken fajitas I’ve ever had. I don’t even live in the area and I’ve tried a few places where I’m at, but nothing compares. Idk what they do but they’re so good.

El Compadre had been a favorite of mine for years, it's a small little place but the food is great and staff is fantastic. I usually get the California burrito which I really enjoy. I tried their special on this visit which was a burrito with beef, pork AND chicken, it was very good.
If you enjoy Mexican and are in Atascadero I definitely recommend giving them a try.

Came here for dinner with my kids, my parents and my brother so it was a large group. The staff was very attentive, food came out pretty quick and it was delicious! We all left fat and happy 🙂

Love this place! So Friendly! 3 different Salsas with great Chips. Very Clean! Awesome Music! Pleasant Atomsphere. It's not far from the Farmer's Market Park.
