Stopped in for desert and drinks. Was not disappointed. Drinks were great. Pumpkin cheesecake and chocolate cake hit the spot. Coffee was a little weak.

Nice, upscale place in Astoria. Good place to spend a relaxed, unhurried evening. Recommend a table vs. bar seating - always a chance of being in the company of loud locals.
The menu is surprisingly diverse and tasty.

Everything was exquisite. I love a good upscale restaurant. Sound was perfect. Not to loud. And music great.
Our server Maddie was so sweet kind and helpful. Her recommendations were spot on.
We came in on a Thursday. Who could pass up a $10 scrumptious gourmet burger.
We will be back. Can’t wait to try the Moroccan Curry and the Rib Eye.

Great ambience, yet it appeared the staff was not prepard for a near full house... Wait times for main course took more than what it should.
With that being said the food exceeded expectations.. The Chocolate Cake was to die for!

Great atmosphere and great host; Dishes are far from boring and well presented. Top it off with a good selection of brews and a full bar and you'll want to come back for more. (Brussel sprouts are most delicious) 🤤

If you are looking for a high end dining experience look no further than Carruthers! You can show up in fancy clothes or shorts and a ball cap but you'll be treated like you own the town! You need to go and enjoy their amazing bar and menu!

Update:
09/08/2022 We came here on a Thursday evening. We had a Carruthers Burger, Pad Thai, Rockfish Tacos and Asada Fries. Everything was delicious. Our friends ordered the Asada Fries with her Rockfish Tacos, thinking they were a side but the portion was ginormous. Meghan, our server was super nice and helpful. It's really a great restaurant.

Carruther's has a great atmosphere, friendly staff, delicious food and some really good cocktails too. Be specific if you like a drink a certain way. We just found out they serve brunch all day on Sundays and I can't rate the pumpkin French toast high enough. It is sinfully good.
