good prices on snacks and drinks but the cookies i bought were expired by a month and a half, but the guy behind the counter with the jersey accent was happy to give me a refund. could use some air con in there too

Been eating here for 20 years, always a great experience. Classic Italian dishes, hot and cold sandwiches, this place is the real deal. If you go regularly and have a sense of humor, Andrew or Frank might give you a nickname. Went vegan last year and these guys still keep me fed. - WOLF

Going to A&F for years. It is my go to spot for a sandwich or hot food and various salads. You know a place is really good when the Police, Firemen, Correction and Sanitation workers go there regularly.

Just amazing sandwiches!!! Small sitting area. Standard selection of beverages. Accessed by street parking or subway. Once again, the hero sandwiches put this over the top!!!

There's a mammoth array of sandwiches to choose from at this deli, and the hardest part is taking the time to read the menu and choose which masterful creation you want. They'll alter or add to any sandwich, and you can get them all on a hero, roll, or wrap. The steam tables of hot food entrees are also pretty good. Anything with fried eggplant is a real winner.
