Delicious food. The sauces were ������. The pulled pork melted in your mouth. Great beer selection on tap. Also the music was awesome. An all around excellent atmosphere.

I love the size and decor if this restaurant. The staff bussing the tables were super nice. They kept our water glasses full and came by several times to inquire if we were ok. I also loved the vibe of the place. It's a great spot for groups and there's a live band. I wasn't too impressed by the food however. I ordered brisket, baby back ribs, kilbasa, Mac and cheese and garlic mashed potatoes. The brisket was good, the kilbasa and Mac and cheese were okay, but the ribs were dry and overdone. The garlic mashed was terrific. I would come back and try other stuff on the menu and see if they're any better.
The Strand is perfect for big groups! The Strand also boasts tasty BBQ ranging from ribs to brisket to pastrami. It’s a ton of fun to come here for sports events. The inside and outside consists of a bar counter and dozens of wooden tables and benches. The drinks are solid and reasonably priced. I’ve been here for many birthday parties. There is also live music here every Friday and Saturday night. Always a good time @ The Strand Smokehouse!
Menu has changed so the older photos are not representative of what they serve now. The food was still good and good portions, ribs were fall off the bone tender, but I do wish they had more options especially for side dishes. Definitely recommended for large parties as they also serve pitchers of beer. Service was fast and place was clean. Lots of large tv screens around for games if that's your thing. There is also an area for live music as well.
Not the best smoked BBQ but their beer selection with their growlers make up for it... great for groups. They had live music on this saturday. We had a great time!
The place was great. The server Natalie was very nice. Smokey da' pear is a fantastic drink and the mac and cheese was so delicious. 5 star definitely recommend trying this place.
Buddy leaving NYC for Helsinki decided that this would be the place to hold a goodbye get together. Fortunately for us, he made the right choice. We hung out eating and drinking for 4 hours. Our table had about 22 people throughout the night with some spillage to a table across from us. It's a comfortable space, the food was ok as the menu has been simplified, the drinks were better. Order food at the counter, grab your numbered stand and order gets dropped off tableside. I would recommend this space for large group gatherings.
Great place to hang out with a lot of friends during the summer and have some great food and drinks. The space is large and has both indoor and outdoor seating. On the right days you will even find live bands coming in for entertainment.
Definitely worth a stop on by to see what they have going on.

It one of the fun places to take friends to in the neighborhood! Love their selection of beers, live music and big space. Ribs and side dishes are delicious but could have more variety especially on the side dishes- like more vege options!
Great bbq joint with decent beer selection and fantastic smoked meats for fair prices. Tuesday trivia night is a must!
Staff is always friendly and restrooms are clean.
