Blackwater Inn - Astor - Photo album

We had a nice lunch on a Friday, in September 2023 at Drifters Riverfront Bar & Grill. We sat at a nice window seat down stairs, over looking the docks and the river. There was even a nice view of the bridge. I will keep this review to the downstairs itself, as we never went up onto the rooftop bar.
My son and I drove out there to take my sister to lunch there on the St John's River. Beautiful scenery, the waitress was top notch. Very efficient. We ordered shrimp , fish platters with side of seasoned French fried potatoes. Every thing was delicious. The potatoes were also. Even the way the we
Poboy was gas !! Sweet potato fries are yummy and thick which I love! Didn’t wait any more than 10 minutes for my food and for that I was grateful because I was so hungry. Beautiful views while you eat too !
Been there twice so far and haven't been disappointed. The grouper finger basket I got the first time was amazing smell like seafood look like seafood it tastes like. 😜 Had to go back and try The shrimp basket and love this one too and the collard greens.
Found this little gem on a boat ride down to astor. Great little spot. Outside roof deck (not much seating) but beautiful views, does have a bar up stairs that is for 18 or older which we really enjoyed. The drinks and beer were ice cold and amazing! Highly recommend the blueberry lemon drop shots 😜

They have a variety of items, not just seafood, corned beef, burgers, wings, da
Bobbi S working the upstairs bar was Fantastic! Wish we would have ordered food upstairs instead of ... eating downstairs then going upstairs for a drink. After our service downstairs, we debated going somewhere else. Thanks Bobbi ☘️
Nice, laid back restaurant on the river with some great food and great views. You can pull up on your jet skis and boats and grab a bite to eat, when you come inside, of course. Very casual dining atmosphere. Upstairs and downstairs dining, both with full bars and TVs.
I chose the upstairs bar as I was traveling alone. I ordered a dozen oysters but 'we do ours with 10' so for $17.95 for ten oysters. That is ok, they were fairly good. One or two were large but far from the best oysters, I still enjoyed them with a corona and such a beautiful view of the St Johns R
Just look at that view! I used to come when it was Blackwater Inn/Williams landing and I gotta say this reno is a welcome change. The view is incredible as ever, the staff is still top notch, and the food is *chef's kiss* A friend and I stopped in for lunch and we both really enjoyed our meals an
