Great food // Great Vibes. We had the BEST experience at this place. The food was spectacular and the cocktails were incredibly delicious. We ordered the lemongrass curry and chicken shawarma. Cocktail was The Cure. Our waiter was Kyle who super friendly and knowledgeable in the menu and cocktail recommendations (he’s a bartender too). Just a really friendly environment with amazing food and drinks. Doesn’t get better than this place!! We’ll be back!

The name “Aspen Public House” implies that everybody is welcome here. The type of place you feel comfortable not wearing Prada and Gucci. The prices are very affordable for Aspen. The food is a mix of healthy salads, steak, sandwiches, and Indian dishes. The cocktails are creative and tasty. There is a large selection of quality spirits. However, we did not feel welcome after all. We’ve been coming here since this place was Bentley’s. Most of us have been living in Aspen for 15 years. We are a group of hard working local moms who randomly find time to go out for a drink together. Yesterday, the waitress decided to calculate 20% gratuity in our bill although our group was smaller than 6. She heard we all had an accent and was worried about her tip. As far as I know, the gratuity you leave is based on the quality of the service. I work in the service industry too and have never left less than 20% at a restaurant. But I certainly don’t appreciate being forced into it. We might not come back.

Pleasantly surprised with the Indian food here. Flavors were good. I’d say the spice level on the spicy dishes were maybe a 1 out of 5 at your normal Indian restaurant. The chicken was delicious and juicy - probably my favorite dish out of what we ordered. Good portions! Super busy on a Sunday during lunch time.

We got truffle fries, the sesame bowl with crispy chicken, & the yellow curry bowl with chicken. All were very flavorful with fresh, clean ingredients! The draft beers are always changing, but the one we got was really good. The outdoor seating is nice because I mean you’re in Aspen! Great view of the mountains, but the seating is a little cramped so I wouldn’t recommend it for a large party. We brought our dog with us & they allowed him on the patio. Inside the restaurant is a really cool aesthetic - dark & moody, kinda rustic, vintage, cabin vibes, with a really pretty full bar. Definitely would recommend checking it out if you’re in town!

Best priced restaurant downtown Aspen, drink are good, I got the curry lamb, suggestion to the chef: the white rice sucks tasted like 5 minutes rice, use basmati or Jasmin rice and the lamb should be added on top not mixed and not so shredded looked mushy but overall flavor was good.

Picked this place off of the reviews and rating. It did not disappoint. We started off with the fried potato’s, Then had the lemongrass curry and one of the vegan bowls! Both dishes were fresh, filling and so good. I recommend this place

The truffle fries are very tasty — With crispy shell and it’s very flavorful. Overall food and service are great, and not very expensive by the Aspen standards. I had Lemongrass yellow curry with tempura fried chicken. Tasted good.

Nice ambiance (like pretty candlesticks on the bar and intricately painted columns) and the menu is phenomenal. It's gastro pub fare but had some nice twists that made it stand out from your typical gastro pub. Service was excellent. Fair price range as well. I'd definitely go back.
