Definitely a place I would recommend. Even though I’m not a burger fan, the chicken Burger was fantastic; as well as the fires. Slightly spicy and testily. Atmosphere and stuff are lovely

The staff and overall ambiance was excellent! Drinks and the pours, also excellent. But food.... average. The beef stroganoff was totally lacking in flavor and we would not recommend this dish. Arugula salad was pretty good, though, and serving sizes were appropriate!

We had dinner here and we were greeted by a very bubbly hostess. She was great and got what we had asked for. When we decided that we needed the high chair instead of a booster seat, our server seemed disgruntled that we had to switch. He was very rude the rest of the night, so much so that we didn't even get his name. The food was so so. My husband got the buffalo burger and he stated that it wasn't worth the $25 price tag. After dinner, our server offered us dessert, but only told us 2 options. We declined and our check was brought. He didn't even pick up our check; it was picked up by Zane. The entire time our server was rude and inattentive. We will not be returning.

Was up in Aspen for the weekend and looking for a good spot to eat. We took one glance at the menu and were sold. Amazing staff and ownership who were very accommodating and helpful. Can’t begin to say enough about the food and drinks, let alone the beignets which are better than any I had down in New Orleans. Would 100% recommend for a great dinner/date night in Aspen!

Pretty expensive but it's aspen after all... The food was on par for the price, minus the bison burger I had could've done with a little more seasonings/pops of flavor. Crab cakes were incredible. Service however most definitely didn't live up to the price of the place, nor the required added gratuity to your bill. We had a party of seven and at the end of our meal we asked the bill be split up and we were told the appetizers couldn't be split between people and then asked to write down what all we wanted on each tab for the server...

At first I was quite confused regarding the identity of this restaurant. Family friendly? Sports bar? Fine dining? (We came for an early dinner on a Saturday) The service turned out to be excellent and the offerings were delicious. I've never heard of crab on red snapper but it was done especially well.

I've been coming to Aspen my whole life but somehow recently discovered Tatanka and it has QUICKLY turned into my favorite restaurant in town. Service is amazing, food is unbelievable (with a nice Aspen touch), awesome vibes, unique cocktails and perfect spot for date-night or group dinners. My friends (from out of town) liked it so much that we went back to back nights.
We shared bison carpaccio (melts in your mouth!), lobster mac n cheese (duh), bison burger (apologies to all my vegetarian friends who miss out on this), short rib grilled cheese (wow!) and the rock shrimp crispy rice (nobu who?).
Not to mention, the new downstairs lounge is perfect for cozy mountain vibes. Good music, great cocktails, cozy fireplace. I couldn't design a better downstairs mountain lounge if my life depended on it.
Hands down, one of my favorite spots in town

One of my favorite restaurants recently added to the Aspen dining scene. However on this particular visit I was disappointed as one of the items I regularly order (short rib grilled cheese) was served with a substitution of corned beef for some inexplicable reason, and the server argued with me that that was how it normally was served. There's a huge difference in the taste and color of the two meats. In any case the server did apologize and offered another item on the menu which was quickly served and was delicious. I'll give them another chance.
