A fun atmosphere provided by the host resort for the Winter XGames. The tunes are bumping at each ski lift. The runs are mellow enough for beginner and intermediate skiers/snowboarders. You can find a challenge in their terrain parks.

The best slopes to cruise! Staff was exceptional and we were lucky to have a bluebird day that was uncrowded during the week. Never waited long to get the lift.

Probably the most 'intermediate' of all the Aspen ski areas. Really enjoyed some high speed runs down the groomers with rolling jumps! The boys loved the terrain parks.
Skied a couple days before the X-Games started so the half pipe and monster jumps were under construction and closed.

Buttermilk was our favorite mountain of the Aspen / Snowmass options. Because there is limited onsite lodging, crowds are smaller here. There are less Black Diamond runs, but tons of great Greens + Blues for intermediate skiers. Grab some BBQ at the base for lunch.

So much pow. Lifts are fast. Everyone so welcoming. Everything so fun. Fun trails and powder stashes. Amazing tree trails.

Great hidden gem among the 4 Aspen ski areas. Free onsight parking is a bonus. Plenty of blue and black cruisers to enjoy for a day. Great place for beginners. Great view of Pyramid Peak from the top.

My Wife learned to ski here.
Great beginner mountain that will keep intermediates happy as well.
Fun to come here a few days after a snow storm as there is usually some untracked powder in the woods that lasts longer than Highlands/ Ajax.

Such a great ski resort, in my opinion the most underrated in Aspen of the big four. Loved the left side of the mountain! Will definitely be back next season!
