Mr. Hero

Made a phone order for pickup for a Roman burger combo, was told 15 minutes. Showed up 20 minutes later and the cashier apologized for not even starting my order as they were slammed. I understood and patiently waited as I had to get to work (hence the call ahead order) this is what I received and now I am at work with no lunch

We used to get Mr Hero at least once a month. But thanks to Covid, we hadn't been there in a long time. Needless to say, we were NOT impressed this time at all!! Only 2 employees, the sandwiches we ordered seemed to be "almost" like the meat had gone bad. And it was super expensive compared to what we got!! We both said "we should have gone to (name of place withheld out of respect) and paid less for better food!! We will not be going back.

Mr. Hero provides decent sub fair, though I will admit I often feel like the prices for the subs are pricey in comparison to what you get. The food and options are good, just expect to pay more in comparison to places that serve hot subs. Unique subs like the Roman burger sub and Zesty bacon and swiss are stand outs, though I personally feel a Roman sub truly achieves its flavor potential with the addition of Russian dressing or thousand island. The staff at this location is pretty attentive, though current issues with understaffing across the nation can be seen here as well. Workers often seem overwhelmed during busy hours, and do their best. I recommend using their online app, or setting aside extra time during busy periods to avoid frustration. Michael is an employee there that we often deal with. He is very attentive and always pleasant to talk to.
