Best Mexican in the Ashland area. If you're looking for a festive place with margaritas and Americanized Mexican food where you can celebrate Cinco de Mayo, this place is not for you. If you're looking for a hole-in-the-wall eatery with excellent authentic Mexican food, this is your place.
PS - the location shown on Google Maps is not quite right. Riviera Maya is next to Liberty Market in the parking lot at the corner of Route 1 and Ashcake Rd.

Fantastic late lunch today at Rivera Maya Mexican Grill. I had tacos al pastor/pineapple and pork tacos. I like it hot so I topped with the home made hot red sauce wow HOT all on top of a home made corn tortilla! I also asked for cilantro and onions simply authentic and delicious! The guacamole totally fresh and tasty as well. I pray there are more of us that support this ma and pa restaurant the owner/chef has true passion for her food and deserves to be successful.

ordered the crane asada, overcooked, dry and chewey. Beans were luke warm, rice was the best part of it and i dont care for rice, corn tortillias were not soft and flexible. Wife had chicken enchilada dinner. Tortillias were not soft on enchilada, chicken was overcooked and dry. The topper of the whole deal! It took 25 min to get our dinner and we were the only ones there. Chips were old. Never would reccomend this place.

First time eating here server was disrespectful from the start of our order. Got hot salsa with our chips and cold cheese dip. Hope food comes out better then the start of our meal. If could give zero stars would have at this point.
