I have eaten here nearly a million times. ;-) No seriously, I keep coming back because it's so wonderful. The staff is always friendly, the food is always quick and fresh, and I love the family feel there. I highly recommend trying this place out, if you haven't already!
Went in, greeted immediately. No tables available,but,as we waited,we noticed several people sharing tables..A very nice lady waved us over,so we went,sat,and had a lovely conversation while we ate.. I got Chicken n Dressing,Mashed potatoes, and Turnip greens.The dressing was not chocked full of onions & celery like some places. The mashed potatoes were REAL not instant, and the Turnip greens weren't chopped like most places serve.My mom got Fried Catfish, Mac n Cheese,and Onion rings. Catfish wasn't greasy,and the Mac n cheese was homemade. All I can say is AWESOME!! The food was better than several other places that serve that type food. Fresh, seasoned to perfection,and the place scored 100 on the health codes inspection.. It is a hidden jewel..WE WILL be going back!
Busy little diner, had the double burger which was excellent. They had me in and out quickly so efficient wait staff. Negative, $17 for a double cheese burger, fries, and water
Had lunch today at Cody's Diner in Ashland City. Yummy food with Janice Simpson.
Near here visiting family. Looked up diners and found this one. Choose meat (liver and onions with 2 sides).

We shared the club sandwich and country fried steak. The sandwich had tons of meat and fresh ingredients. Country fried steak was delicious, but lacking a little seasoning. Mashed potatoes were great and so was the gravy. Too much vinegar in the coleslaw for our taste. Lots of french fries. Overall good meal.
A great local place with home cooking, meat and 3's, burgers and desserts! Great service, great food and reasonable prices. We plan on going back whenever we are in Ashland City.
Fabulous Food! What an unexpected gem. Great food, great prices, super friendly folks & huge portions! ~ I ordered the western omelette with a biscuit & gravy and that’s enough food to feed 3 people! Cant go wrong here
Excellent breakfast, super friendly staff. Ate really well and prices were fair. Very happy. Western omelette was perfectly made! All this for $9. I eat a lot in Nashville and always get way less food for way more money.
Love the food here. Only disappointment, and I mean the ONLY, was I had my heart set on their amazing breakfast and they switched to lunch at 10:30am. But, not to disappoint! I "settled" for the Friday special of Chicken and dressing! Delicious!!! Love this place!!
