If you like Mexican food. You will enjoy your meal. It was my first time visiting this restaurant. I wasn't familiar with the food items which made it hard to select a meal. The service I received was good, although The waitress could have been more helpful in helping me make a decision concerning the menu. The restaurant is small inside. It does not offer a place to wait for a table. Therefore you will be waiting outside which is no problem unless it is cold 😊

I love this place. Music is good..
I tried the Mango Mojito. Delicious. And the NEW drink Cinnamon Apple Margarita. . definitely a good experience if your looking flavor and Hispanic taste.
Thank You to my server Luisa 💖
Went here after hearing raving reviews from multiple people—and it did not disappoint.
We went on a Saturday evening as walk in. The front hostess told us about a 25min wait, and so we put our names down to wait. After about an hr and 15mins later we got seated outside. The uninformed wait was the worst part of this experience.
The food was excellent and was definitely worth the wait.
The octopus starter was very tasty. I talked about it for days after.
For entree I got the Cuban paella and it was also very good.
Definitely worth a visit!
We ate at Salsa’s several times while we visited Asheville and loved every bite of of our diverse dishes. They have Latino fusion style dishes with plenty of options for everyone’s taste. The fried whole branzino was mouth watering as well as the paquetes, palomilla Cuban steak, salmon, empanadas….. and they have vegetarian as well as vegan options. YUM!
One of the highlights of our visits was Luisa’s service. So courteous, friendly, attentive and super helpful with suggestions. All the staff we encountered seemed to be enjoying their job and it shows on taste and service.
I’ll be craving Salsa’s flavors when we leave.
Where do I start? My wife and I were going to eat at a different restaurant, but we were thankful that we ate at Sal's instead. The food was was so delicious. Every ingredient was fresh, and every piece of my entree was cooked perfectly. I recommend trying this place if you desire to have an experience with authentic food.
It was awesome. The drinks, the food, the service and atmosphere were all top notch. Very impressed.
First off this place would have EASILY been a 5 star. But unfortunately as good as the food look the steak in my apanda was the toughest I ever had. I mean tough BUT if not for this it will knock your socks off. I will try it again
Our favorite restaurant in Asheville! We have been going to Salsas for last 10 years and we have referred a lot people there, it never let us down! It’s more Cuban/Caribbean Spanish style with a lot flavor and spices. Dishes all have a lot veggies and multiple colors very healthy. Love the plantain and black beans. Everything here is very tasty trust me. They also serve great cocktails and local beers. The place is small and always packed but this is what we love about it….it’s like street food you can’t find anywhere else. Hopefully we will be able to enjoy this little place for many years to come!
A bit pricey for me, but totally worth it as the food was delicious! The dinner menus had a ton of options so I had a tough time deciding what to order, eventually choosing the Vegetarian Plate. I made the right choice! Lots of flavor and gave me the opportunity to try a variety of things. I also had the Mock Mango Madness which was so good and fresh. I look forward to going back and trying something else.
Great Restaurant. The food was phenomenal. We enjoyed it so much
