Loteria is a fun spot with some solid Mexican fare. The small salsa is a big portion so stick with that one if you are going for the salsa. The enchilada’s were delicious as well. The tacos were good with the tortilla tasting like it was homemade. The carnitas taco one was legit. The corn was good was good as well. They also make a mean margherita! Try this place out. 4 stars.
Great spot in downtown Asbury easy to find and parking (paid if you can find it). Indoor/outdoor seating available. Drinks menu has good margs and Palomas (I'd leave out the aperol). Poderosa was delicious! Tacos are small (Id order 3 if you're hungry) but otherwise delicious! Tons of flavor profile I had the carne asada and shrimp which were both tasty. Their version of a ceasar salad was surprisingly enjoyable and complimented a few tacos with a significant other
Food was so good, this is the best Mexican restaurant down the shore, we go every time. I got the shrimp quesadilla. Our service was great!!
This is one of the main places I like to bring friends and family when they’re in town! Consistently good food, great drinks, good service, and a nice vibe. Always happy to come back! Bonus that most of the tacos are gluten free !
Very cute atmosphere. Delicious drinks and food. Wonderful shrimp tacos. Prices are very reasonable. I will definitely dine here again. I love their mango 🥭 margaritas. Comfortable casual setting.
We loved Loteria! The vibe was modern yet funky, and the servers were attentive but not overbearing. My rum punch was the best I've had in tears! My friend had a quesadilla and loved it, and my burrito was amazing. I usually don't like steak burritos, but this one was amazing and I would definitely have it again. We both had ice for dessert, and my mango was excellent. Just wanna add that Anthony, our server, whom we've had many times, is the best. Friendly, knowledgeable, attentive enough... he's a professional through and through. The next time you go to Loteria, ask for Anthony's area. You won't regret it.
This is a really nice place with some solid food and staff. Really enjoyed my tacos and cocktails here. I love the decor, it's very fun and fitting. The tortillas for the tacos are pretty small but they are loaded up with meat and stuff so 2-4 for a person would be good. The prices are a little high for the premium tacos (about $7) but very reasonable for the more basic, but still yummy, tacos (like the $3 Al Pastor taco which they call "Cerdo" here). You can't go wrong with a cocktail either. There's a nice variety of different margaritas as well as Mexican beer (Corona, Modelo, etc).
They have both inside and outside seating. The staff were all great as well. Definitely recommend this place.
Loved the food and the ambience colorful decor, upbeat Mexican music, tasty food! What more can one ask for on a Sunday!
Has lots of good vegetarian options. Will definitely be back again!
Food was delicious. I've had a ton of Mexican and Spanish food and this place is definitely top 5. Portion sizes and prices were fair. Margaritas were strong but good. Seated indoors and the decor was rustic Mexicana. Bathrooms were private and clean.
This is a Latin restaurant. I'm not going to say Mexican for when they gave me that beautiful asada bowl that I ordered. It did not have Mexican rice. It had a multi-grain of beautifully dense rice and it filled me up. Quaint restaurant and wonderful service. Thank you so much for that
