Flights Wine Cafe

We drive by this place all the time. And I've always wanted to try it. From the street it looks so cute. But unfortunately it was not worth the money at all. And whats sad is it has so much potential if the right people were working. Though the gentleman that took care of us was kind he lacked knowledge on the food and drinks. He did say he had just started back but worked there last summer. The wine we chose was delightful but the food was lacking. We ordered the tacos. And they came out on cold corn tortillas that just broke because they weren't steamed or browned. And hardly and meat inside for 15.00 and also ordered meatballs that came with only 2 for 6.00 and caprese salad that had 3 slices of tomatoes with cheese no balsamic for 15.00 total was 70.00 we were so hungry we ended up going to the restaurant down the street. Like I said wine is good but over priced and eat before you go.

Updated review July 17th, 2021:. Went with a few friends and noticed that the manager was talking to the performer about volume level. It was a great evening and we could have a conversation with the music in the background. Everything was good, drinks, food, service, interaction with the staff. All good! ----------------------------------- Great place with it's good and bad points. Let's start with the good and let's say great! Wonderful waitress by the name of Olivia, we wanted for nothing and she was extra knowledgeable. Answered every question we had. Wines were great, foods were great, ambiance was great and extra comfortable. Social distancing was in place but didn't feel like it as the back is nice and large. We even found a friend there that we had not seen in quite a while, that just made the evening even better. Everyone was nice and we will be going back for sure. Now a little bit of the not so great. First we couldn't have a conversation because the band, 2 people, 2 guitars and way too much amplification, seemed to think they were a headliner and not there to compliment the evening. This was an opinion shared repeatedly and not just mine personally. Next, one of the male staff just couldn't accept that the face mask should be covering nose and mouth, usually hanging below his nose. Finally, waiting to get in at the street, the wait was excessive. I dropped off two of my friends while I went to go find parking, when I walked back, about a block so not far, there was a couple waiting that was walking up as I pulled away, they were waiting long enough that I walked up and stood behind them waiting, and waiting and waiting, they finally were noticed and then escorted in and I waited and waited again, finally someone came to the street entrance and I got in. In my opinion that took way too long as there was plenty of staff and not a full house by far. So to wrap this up we plan on going back and introducing this great place to more of our friends. BUT, we will think twice only because Saturday will be the day we would plan to go and we will be competing to speak to each other with the band. Hard call if you want a relaxing evening with some friends and that is exactly what Flights can and should offer.

Had always wanted to go because of how great the outdoor area looks. We went a bit ago and enjoyed our time but were kinda disappointed. On Fridays they have a $40 bottle special (that are supposedly normally $80). We ordered one of this and liked it so we decided to search for it on Google and realized you can get it at many places for $11. Sure, we could know more wine but it is very disappointing they take advantage of their clients that way. The food is also ok; good for snacking but meh, not great. Great outdoor area but could definitely improve in many ways. :/

Just ok. Been to this place twice in the last month as I haven't been for over a year because of the service. They've done some nice improvements to the outside area, however, the service is still very lacking. Waited over 15 minutes just to get our drinks and over 30 for a small cup of olives! Asked the waiter for a red recommendation and he said 'you don't want to ask me'. Say what!? Can't say that I would recommend this place to my friends.

Had an absolutely wonderful visit last weekend with Mom. It began to pour outside, but it's still such a cozy atmosphere in their indoor seating as well. Kind of tucked away into Old Town Arvada. Great place to sip wine and in good company. Jasmine was our waitress, what a doll! 🍷🍾🥂 Will be coming back for many returns.

This was my first visit and it was exactly what I needed. I had the happy hour flight for $12. The price was welcome as were the white, red, and rosé presented. While they were not wines I would have normally ordered, I found them intriguing and enjoyable. They were all blends and I found myself asking questions about their make-up. I also had the cherry, Brie and ham sandwich and it was great. I will have that again. The patio wasn’t set up when I came but I can envision a wonderful outdoor happy hour in the sun. The inside is quaint although I. An see it getting crowded and loud once this place picks up. There is not a lot of indoor seating so the key may be to coming early. And I will definitely be coming back.
