Delicious! We started with grilled carrots (sorry we took the pic after eating some of the carrots) which had balsamic, butter and bits of grilled peaches and maybe apple...so, so, so good.
Our entrees were the pork chops and the striped bass. Both were outstanding. Topped off the meal with strawberry shortcake made with Phyllis dough. Yum!
Our drinks were excellent as well...Remember the Maine, and a Lavender Greyhound 💜
Excellent hospitality too. Glasses of prosecco were brought to our table to help us celebrate our special day. Definitely recommend The Arvada Tavern.
Great place, great hospitality, great service. I have no complaints about this place as it is well rounded. Great custom drinks and spectacular bar food. I will come again next time. Thanks for spectacular service!
Experience is on point. The pop up cocktails are pre-made, so don't get disappointed if they don't blow your socks off. Worth the visit though.
I have a cocktail here and consider moving to Arvada because this place just feels like everything that is missing in just about every neighborhood in metro Denver, JeffCo - heck the Front Range. Yeah, you're getting a lot in the the $13 cocktail that's being mixed with such devotion you feel like you and the bar tender have a connection, and you've been missing that in your life lately. And the syrups and the recipes actually have integrity and commitment behind them, so much so that the staff seems to understand when you start licking the inside of your glass - the drinks are just that good, and really, who cares? The bartenders and owners do - to let your worries go and let the Tavern hold you up, even for just one drink. You need it, and your cat needs some space.
Great selection of signature cocktails with both light bites and heavier fare available. Pro tip, order the German Pretzel for an appetizer.
VERY good food. Great atmosphere and helpful stall. I'll be coming again.
Came back again for a dinner. Their spinach artichoke dip Hass to be the best I have ever had! The service was impeccable. Shaun was amazing. Enjoyed trying different cocktails. The chicken schnitzel was phenomenal!
Wonderful drinks. Tiki Tuesday’s are my favorite. Their menu becomes a “Tiki” theme and their drinks do as well. The Zombie is great. Comes out with a shot inside a lime that is on fire. Totally a cool experience. This place is a bit pricey. My drink was around $15. Definitely a date night vibe. Inside has a pretty dark romantic atmosphere. The Brussel sprouts are pretty good.
Fantastic tasting, serious, old Skool cocktails, and creative, extremely fresh, and well cooked entrees in an kinda old world early American century feel with a modern twist.
Don't fret though, the service is low key and staff is very friendly and knowledgeable to answer any questions you may have.
Pricey but this is quality.
Cheers - Chef
