Skookum Brewery

Large facility with causal atmosphere amongst brewing equipment. Bartender was very knowledgeable & helped us choose which beers to have in our flight. The favorite was the Monolith but lots of varieties to choose from. Dog friendly (for well mannered dogs) so a great stop when you're done walking your dog. Food available at the foodtruck outside, none sold inside. We'll visit again.

LOVE the abundance of outdoor seating and all of the live edge tables inside the brewery. There’s even a couple tables with cribbage boards built into them. We were also able to bring our dog and that’s a huge plus. The ONLY reason I’m giving Skookum a 4-star is because I definitely expected to have a better beer experience at the source than in the cans I’ve purchased from various taprooms. The IPA section was a little lackluster and there wasn’t much really anything that stood out other than the Can It Oat Rye beer. That was absolutely amazing. I may upgrade my rating to a 5-star down the road, but the beer selection would have to improve drastically.

My favorite place in Arlington. I started going to Skookum with friends years ago and now I'm there at least once a week and I love it. I'm not a beer drinker, so imagine my surprise at finding myself enjoying a glass (or two). This is a great place to hang with friends, pet dogs, eat good food, and relax during a crazy time. The owners are amazing and welcoming, the staff is fun, and the environment allows us to take a much needed, relaxing break from what's happening in the world. Highly recommended.
