Post 25

First of all, I would like to say that your food is amazing. At both post and East Village Grill, but we do frequent post a lot and it seems like that your hostess do not understand the concept of time they will tell you it’s a 25 minute wait And yet you will wait an hour or longer. Also, I cannot believe that you guys charge $1.25 for an extra ranch dressing. I understand that probably a lot gets wasted but I think $.50 is more accurate of a price for ranch dressing.

My husband and I arrived for our anniversary last night. It was packed and seemed to be having a Christmas party for an office. The wait was extremely longer than the host thought. We grab drinks while we waited. The drinks were great. We watched as several parties came in and waited with us as well. There was a party of 4 I believe that came in three parties after us that knew the front of house manager. I watched her tell the front hosts to seat them ahead of the rest of us. That was pretty annoying since we had already been waiting over an hour to sit. When we arrived to the table our waitress was amazing and the food was good as well.

We were out of town and had plans to have a big Thanksgiving feast at the house we were staying at with family. Unfortunately, things didn’t work out as planned. We wanted a Thanksgiving style type dinner and were out of luck everywhere downtown. Happened to check out Post 25. They were slammed!!! But, they got us in immediately sat us. The food was delish! Just like a home cooked Thanksgiving meal. Excellent service as well. Thank you!!!! 😊

I ran in on a Friday to snag the $13 dish & chips lunch special. In and out in maybe 30 minutes? This place has winter lodge vibes neets a Denny's in such an interesting way. It's definitely a neighborhood hang. Friendly waitress, food was out quick. The fry on the fish was great. The fries weren't my jam but I have strong feelings about fries. Can't wait to go back. Next time I'll grab a spot at the bar. Totally different vibes in there.

Been to P25 many times for 1/2 price apps and cold beer, but not for actual lunch or dinner. The wife and I were on that side of town after a Halloween time ComicCon (hense the costume). Beer was just as it always is; plentiful, diverse and cold. We had a Bavarian Pretzel which was huge, but could have used a touch more salt. The mustard was a sweeter type than I prefer, but that cheese sauce was perfect. If allowed I would have eaten a bowl of it alone hahaha. We both had the Greek Fries as a side and they were good with the seasoning and feta on them. She had the RAMBurger with the egg fried, and it was a monster. Juicy, even done at mid well, and loved that tasty bacon they have. I had the Fried Grouper Reuben and I have no words for how delicious the fish was. The saurkraut didn't have the punch I'm used to. The 1000 island didn't add too much to the sandwich, just some lubrication. The bread is what I always vision on a true reuben so that was spot on. All around a solid food experience, love the building and the ambiance. Don't take my word for it though, go experience it for yourself and enjoy.

Post 25 have really taken their food, service and atmosphere to the next level. Their food has always been good, but the last few times has been extraordinarily great. We had a lunch meeting today and decided on post 25. We started out with the Mills River Mushrooms which was cooked to perfection, followed by the hand battered chicken tenders and chicken sandwich. We had great conversation with the bartender Des, she was phenomenal, attentive and extremely polite. I highly recommend this place for your dining experience!

I have wanted to stop here for years and we finally did for dinner!! You won't regret it!! Friendly wait staff, very family oriented!! Food was fantastic!!! We split a side caesar salad, prime rib sandwich and onion rings and splurged for a piece of perfect chocolate cake afterwards!!! Lovely interior and a great ending to a busy day!!!

First visit and it was great. Friendly staff, with it being crowded the waiter was still very attentive. The French dip with Greek fries and Philly Steak Pizza were delicious. If not familiar with the restaraunt, the parking lot is a bit tight, and can be difficult to navigate as I noticed with many guest coming and going. Overall, if ever in the area again we will come back.

Nicely organized menu with lots of choices. They are happy to make changes if you want to modify a a menu item. Updated decor. Pleasant and fresh. Very clean. Our meals were great and fairly pricrd. Waitress was very good. Helpful and efficient. A great place to take people with a wide variety of menu items. The $13 weekday Blue Plate specials are a bargain. Full meals, NOT small portions.
