Long time customer since they first opened. I lived 5 minutes from here. Food was good, but I've just had it with this place. The owner just doesn't seem to care for the place since they've gained popularity. Every-time you go there, even when they just opened for the day. Bunch of popular dishes would be "sold out" or they would claim it's missing this and that ingredients (Typical ingredients too like leeks, bean sprouts etc that's super easy to get.) They would mis quote you take out estimate all the time. What they said would be 30 minutes, ended up to be 1 hr to 1.5 hrs. And the store is not even busy. They get orders wrong half the time as well, so you always need to double check. Food is good but not to the point that's worth the frustration.

CHINA (Shanxi) 🇨🇳

When transliterated to English at least, the Chinese provinces of Shanxi and Shaanxi are easy to mix up for those that have not spent time eating in both places. In Chinese, the characters for Shan and Shaan are different completely, while the sounds they make are just different in tone. The cuisines of these neighboring provinces though could not be more different.
While Shaanxi foods are spicier and use chili oils quite heavily, in Shanxi province, there are many more stir fry noodle dishes and they often use homemade vinegar that is famous throughout all of China.
In addition to vinegar, Shanxi cuisine employs a lot of wood ear mushrooms, which also show up in the stunning bowl of house special fried noodle with boiled pork ($12.47). This style, another one of many hundreds that originate in Shanxi, is called dao xiao and consists of wide and long meaty knife-cut noodles.

Wife’s special noodle is a very tasty dish. It comes with lamb, eggs and pork. We love mixing up the whole thing with some chili and eat it!

They have very good selection of noodle. I am very impressed with dishes. We ordered Wife special noodle, cold noodle and pork dumplings. They were all tasty. The staff was very helpful helping us choose the dishes since we never have them before. The place was clean and very busy at lunch. We definitely come back and try different dishes. Keep up!

Tried this place based on recommendation and all the accolades (mentioned in Michelin 2019 guide). It was great but not spectacular. The noodles are springy but the rest is pretty standard. Service was good and the place was clean.

Small restaurant but definitely worth visiting! The noodles were amazing the wife's special noodles are very chewy and just great.
