Peppers Mexican Restaurant

Went for authentic Mexican food that wasn’t too expensive... and left feeling satisfied. I think the only reason it was reasonable was because it was “Taco Tuesday.” Otherwise, the menu is rather expensive for what they serve you. Ex: A half order of guacamole is $4.95 and it’s a tiny ice cream scoop sized, of store bought guacamole. I actually confirmed with the waitress that this was in fact the right size bc I thought maybe it was their side portion. I will say the drinks are very good and plenty strong! We tried the regular house margaritas and the mango margaritas. They were both solid. The restaurant was loud and busy, but the bar was even more lively! If you like sports bars and Mexican, this might be your perfect haven! Enjoy!

It's a bar "hangout"! Just eat before you come...the food isn't that good and the prices are OUTRAGEOUS for what you get. Been there for 42 years so they don't care. They have their regulars that keep them going...they don't need us...and that's the way you are made to feel! The un-eatable food got put on the table and that was it! No return for drink refills...nada! Cold atmosphere! Huge EMPTY spaces...go on and on...cozy fire place (not lit on this cold night)...I think It's symbolic...the "fire's gone out" of the place. lots of carved wood on the beautiful FULL BAR. Many T.V.'s scattered around fixed on sports events. The prices are ridiculous! No help from the waiter. I said I wanted a "soft" taco (it was soft alright...so soft and damp it fell apart) and a tamal. And that's what Cesar served me...one each on it's own plate. No rice...no beans! (They do have a combo plate but I wasn't offered that.) Left hungry and feeling "cheated"...not good.

We had Juan serve us .. what a complete gentleman Juan is. . Perfect with attention, service and advice on menu items, I'm not a big fan of Mexican food, but I like this restaurant, and Juan made it even better. I hope this restaurant knows what an asset they have in such a fine employee. Well worth a visit

Always great service!! Love Taco Tuesday I've found all menu items taste great. With the exception of the Mole, it's all good Mexican food. My favorite servers are Oscar and Santos, not forgetting the chip guy they call Tamale. He is THE HARDEST WORKER keeping your chips, salsa and drink full. The restaurant is clean and the atmosphere happy!
